Approximately 1.5–2 hours are available to explore the area. From the parking area, a roughly 1 km flat walk is followed by an approximately 800-meter uphill climb to reach the crater rim.
At the top, visitors can stand at the edge of Mount Bromo’s crater and observe the active volcanic crater up close while enjoying the distinctive volcanic landscape that surrounds it.
