Great views of surrounding area and into the mouth of the volcano. - Great views and nice hike up to volcano. Our guide picked us up from the cruise port and took us to Bromo. It was a long drive but worth it. We drove most of the way in a comfortable sedan and then had to transfer to a Jeep to get up the hilly mountain road. We drove on the sea of sand and then up an opposite mountain for fantastic views of Bromo and the other close-by volcanoes. We managed to get some great pictures before heading over to Bromo. We had to walk some distance across the Sea of Sand and then up to the volcano. The final leg of the hike included 243 steps. Our guide took great care to get us back to the cruise port on time.

Day bromo tour - I had an amazing day. Not going to the sunrise tour allows you to miss all the crowds.... And get the volcano to yourself (almost) The waterfall was also amazing. My tour guide Nita was brilliant.... She was so knowledgeable in volcanology as she studies them....I learnt allot from her wisdom.... Great asset to have..... Her English was amazing and explained everything perfectly.. Totally recommend this trip and also highly recommend you ask for Nita as your guide....5 ⭐

Mount Bromo - One Day Visit - Private Tour - 4 January 2025 - I had one day in Surabaya and booked a one-day, private tour to Mount Bromo on Saturday, 4 January 2025. My guide was Layla (and driver Andre). Layla was an excellent guide: professional, delightful with a good level of English. She/driver arrived punctually to collect me at my hotel at assigned hour and accompanied me throughout the tour, even climbing to the top of Mt. Bromo to take pictures at the active volcano crater. I was completely satisfied with my tour and enjoyed having Layla as my guide. The assigned vehicle was new, spacious and comfortable. The tour went flawlessly so I would not hesitate to request Layla again if I return to Mount Bromo. 5+ Stars for Layla! - William M.(Florida, USA)

A Worthwhile Experience - The hike to the top of Mt Bromo is a challenge. The view is spectacular. Take a mask with you to help remove the sulfur from the air.

Gunung Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall An unforgettable trip - It was a worthwhile journey, though I stayed up all night.The guide Hans was fluent in chinese, english and indonesian, took good care of me, held my hand during climbed the mountains and went to the waterfalls., helped me carry my bag, took pictures for me, was a very dedicated person. The scenery was stunning and the whole trip was well organized.

Dong Aus - It’s very beautiful at Mt BROMO but should be care about dust wind time to time weather there it’s hot prepare enough water to avoid dehydration.

A great day with a great guide - It was a very well spent day. Great trip with a wonderful guide Layla. She is very nice, interesting storyteller, very helpful and cheerful.
