Lovely day thanks to our guide Leonardo - Today we had the most wonderful experience hiking all the way up from the teleferico to the summit of Rucu Pichincha. I can only say amazing things of our guide Leonardo Guerrero. He was on time for our hotel pickup, he safely drove us to the teleferico and got us started on the hike (not before warming up to avoid injuries!). He was knowledgeable of the area as well as local trees and animals and promptly answered all my questions. He was very kind and help me climb up when the trail required rock climbing. We had arrived in Quito just a few hours before in the middle of the night due to a flight delay, nevertheless Leonardo set a pace that we could follow despite the lack of sleep and acclimatization. I would strongly recommend working with Leonardo as he has experience with city tour as well behind hiking. Thank you Leonardo for a first lovely day in Quito!
