• Vallecitos - We will visit the “Vallecitos” area, located in the Department of Lujan de Cuyo, in the town of Potrerillos, located 100 km from the city of Mendoza. In Cerro Arenales we will take a simple walk, where we will contemplate the fauna and flora of the place. Accompanied by a wonderful mountain landscape. This walk is pleasant and has a view from its summit that allows you to observe a large part of the Cordón del Plata park and the towns of Potrerillos. This Hill is used by many climbers for acclimatization before climbing higher hills.

We will start the tour from Mendoza (800 m.s.n.m.) at 8:30 a.m., to arrive before noon at the Vallecitos refuge area (2,900 m.s.n.m.). Once in the place we will begin the trekking towards Cerro Arenales, at a pleasant and simple pace.

Difficulty of the activity: EASY to MODERATE. Although it is a walk without technical difficulty, the difficulty is that we arrive by vehicle at the Vallecitos refuge area at 2,900 meters above sea level, and then begin to climb to 3,400 meters above sea level.
