Driving through small authentic mountain villages, you will admire unforgettable views of Sicilian countryside full of oranges and lemon plantations, olives and almond trees, houses and old churches built of lava stone. Finally you will reach the first venue, welcomed by a sommelier who will explain you the wine production process. In here you will taste 3 Etna DOC wines with three different kinds of “bruschetta”, a crunchy home made bread dressed with different traditional pates. Enjoying the panoramic view of Etna, you will drive to the second venue, another outstanding Etna winery, where, with a professional sommelier, you will taste 4 wines of the Region accompanied by a traditional “tagliere” of local products and pasta. You will continue the tour to the next venue, a winery with an authentic charm. Here you will taste 3 red and white wines accompanied by fresh domestic appetizers: locally produced cheeses, meat delicacies, olives, olive oil and fresh bread. After the tour, your guide will bring you back to your accommodation.

Best winery tour in Sicily. - Wow, what an excellent tour of boutique wineries on the slopes of Mount Etna! We visited with our guide Maurizio, a native of the area, and he selected three fantastic wineries. We did this as a shore excursion from the cruise port in Messina, and it was an ideal activity. The three wineries were gorgeous, with beautiful views and lush settings, and of course delicious wine that we won’t see in the US. We also had an excellent lunch served as part of the excursion, by one of the wineries. It will probably be the best food we have in Italy! A highly recommended activity if you love wine, or have already vacationed in Sicily and are looking for something a little different to do. Definitely request Maurizio as your guide, he is an excellent driver and knows all the wineries and operators there. You’ll have a great day!

Great day out in the vineyards! - We had a lovely day with our informative guide, Carmelo, who was very wine knowledgeable. A wonderful lunch at Vini Lizzio and arancini at Nero vineyards. Highly recommended.

Wonderful wine, stunning views and very warm hospitality. A great day away from Taormina! - We had a fabulous day tasting MT Etna wines with Roberto. The producers were all small and incredibly welcoming. And the wine was fantastic. Roberto was a knowledgeable and warm host. Whether you are a wine lover or just looking for a day full of stunning views away from the Taormina tourists, I highly recommend!!

Great Winery Tour - Overall, the combination of excellent wines, beautiful scenery, and passionate storytelling made this wine tour a must-do for any wine enthusiast visiting Sicily. I left with not only new favorites but also a deeper appreciation for Sicilian winemaking traditions. Highly recommended!

Great experience and value - This was an truly exceptional experience largely due to our tour guide Alessandra. She was wonderful in communicating with us the night before so we were all set for the morning. She is a born and raised in the area and took the time to share a lot of great history and current events with us while expertly driving us around the Etna countryside. We learned and laughed a lot! The wineries were each unique and lovely with great hosts, wine and food. We especially loved our visit with the two brothers and the lunch they prepared for us. It felt very boutique and special and the small batch wines they shared were truly unique and while we each had our own cars and drivers we met two other lovely couples which was unexpected and fun. All in all it was a great value and experience!

Great private wine tour - well worth it - We had a great day out with Marco, our driver. He was very friendly and relaxed, communicated well, picked us up right on time from our accommodation. The chosen wineries were all unique, not commercial or touristy and produced tasty wine. There was essentially a full lunch at the second stop and a lot of grazing food at the other two locations, so you will not be left wanting. Jessica, who communicated with me via email to arrange the booking, was also great - communicative and prompt.

Excellent Boutique Winery Tour - This was a fantastic private tour of three small boutique wineries. The wines were all excellent quality, and the food was equally wonderful. The views on the north side of Mount Etna are not to be missed. Our guide David and Driver Giuseppe were very hospitable and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a true Sicilian wine experience, I would recommend this one.

Great wine, great guide and some of the best food we had in Sicily - My wife and I were guided on this tour by Marco who arrived bang on time with lots of water and some snacks for breakfast. Marco spoke great English and as a sommelier was able to share insights about the wines and vineyards we were visiting in-between tastings. The 3 vineyards we visited all offered something different, the wines were varied and the food for lunch was spectacular - a real highlight. Although it’s relatively expensive, it was a full day and we’d eaten and drank enough that we couldn’t stomach dinner in the evening, so we felt it was good value. Thanks Marco!
