Unique culinary experience on the farm immersive and warm, - We had a great day with this cooking course included in the culinary tour offered by Naxos Sun Holidays. Lida our Guide, Francophone, very friendly and cultured, accompanied by Alex our driver accompanied us on this authentic tour. While learning a lot about the Cyclades and Naxos, we had the experience of a farm cooking class at Mary and John, very welcoming and warm. It delighted everyone from grandparents to teenagers. We cooked stuffed vegetables and enjoyed meatballs, zucchini donuts and farm-made cheese. The little gift of the end arrived like an icing on the cake! Besides the immersive culinary experience, we were also able to feed the farm animals. Very typical, off the beaten tourist path, even if it was very well prowled! Recommend if you want a moment of Cycladean sharing that will take you away from the crowds of Naxos beaches and resorts.

We loved Naxos and our tours! - We had Alex as a driver for our transfers; Spiros for an all day tour of Naxos; and Lida for the private cooking class. They are all very nice people who are very proud of their island and of their business. I highly recommend them for any of their tours. The trip to the farm and cooking class with Maria was great!

Fun cooking class on a family farm - This was a highlight of our Greek holiday so far. Spiros picked us up in a comfortable van, and we headed into the foothills. He pointed out sights, and talked about the island as we drove. We first went to see a traditional olive press and pottery, before heading to a beautiful family farm where we met Maria. Maria fed us some starter dishes that were delicious, and then we started preparing the main course, which were stuffed vegetables. After finishing with those, we made some tzatziki. We then headed outside for a tour of the farm before eating dinner. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our time on the farm immensely. Thank you to our hosts!!

Wonderful experience - Lida was exceptionally knowledgeable and hospitable. Maria and Gianni were incredibly gracious in sharing their home and cooking skills. The homemade wine and cheese were delicious beyond description! They all made us feel as part of the family. Thank you!

Average experience - Our driver was so nice! He was prompt and very talkative and he was wonderful. The “cooking class” was average. The host and hostess spoke no English. The driver had to translate. We cooked basically vegetables and tzatziki. The other food was prepared. Didn’t learn any new cooking recipes. It was a good experience, but I’d hardly call it a cooking class.
