After a guided journey of about 3.5 hours, the city will be reached. During the drive, insights into the Bulgarian perspective on the region’s history will be shared. A two-hour guided tour of the city with a Macedonian guide will follow, offering stories about Yugoslavia and contemporary life in the country, enriching the experience. This will allow for a comparison of historical interpretations and personal conclusions. Key sites include the Old Fortress, Sultan Murat Mosques, and the Old Bazaar, where Caravanserais from the Ottoman era can be seen, highlighting Skopje’s historical role as a major Balkan trade center.
Skopje Fortress Kale - The next stop is the historic fortress at Skopje’s highest point, offering breathtaking views of the city.

Her global contributions are highly respected, and the museum’s extensive photography collection traces her life story. The walking tour concludes at the newly built Gate Macedonia triumphal arch. After this, there will be 1.5 hours for lunch and relaxation before heading to Pristina, Kosovo’s capital.
Pristina National Library - After a 2-hour drive from Skopje, Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, is reached. The walking tour begins at the Pristina National Library, completed in 1982 when Kosovo was part of Yugoslavia. The library houses valuable books and documents, some dating back to the 15th century, and is noted for its unique architecture, often ranked among Europe’s most unusual.
Statue of Mother Teresa - The tour includes a visit to the statue of Mother Teresa, a highly esteemed figure in Kosovo due to her Albanian heritage.
Carshia Mosque (Xhamia e Carshise) - The tour passes by Pristina’s oldest building, the Carshia Mosque, built in the 15th century.
Fatih Mosque (Xhamia e Mbretit) - Before departing for Prizren, the tour highlights the Imperial Mosque, constructed by Sultan Mehmed II, the conqueror of Constantinople.
Prizren - The final destination for the day is Prizren, a charming city surrounded by beautiful mountains. Arrival is expected after a 1.5-hour drive, around 8:00 pm. Dinner will feature delicious traditional cuisine, with an overnight stay in the city’s historic area.

Mahmet Pasha Hamam - After breakfast at the hotel, the walking tour of Prizren begins around 08:30 am. The tour explores the city’s narrow cobblestone streets and authentic Ottoman architecture, starting with the Mahmet Pasha Hamam, built in the 16th century.
Stone Bridge - The tour crosses the 15th-century Stone Bridge, offering picturesque views of the city’s old section and surrounding nature.
The Sinan Pasha Mosque II - The next stop is The Sinan Pasha Mosque, constructed in the early 17th century, with nearby souvenir shops to explore.
Kalaja Fortress - The tour continues with a visit to the fortress high above the city, offering stunning views and a history of long-lost cultures and peoples. This is the final site in Prizren. The journey back to Skopje takes approximately 2.5 hours, allowing time for relaxation and lunch. At 3:00 pm, the return to Sofia begins, with drop-off at your preferred location.
