Busy day but also a lot of fun - Me Sothy was a great tour guide. We visited many places the beach to swim, a local market, the local school. Where we were able to hand out pencils to the children. We had lunch at a training school. We also got to visit with a monk and were blessed. He kept us busy and a lot of fun.

An interesting day with authentic and super friendly guide. - On time we were picked up at the meeting point, agreed in advance via WhatsApp details. The day was very interesting. Mr. Sothy gave us a lot of knowledge about the culture, religion and current issues. Especially successful: lunch at the Don Bosco training center. Being provided with delicious food by aspiring staff in the hotel and restaurant area was very nice. I will also remember the visit to the school and the market hall. Thank you Mr. Sothy!

Highly recommended, don’t miss this tour! - Amazing! This was kid friendly and family friendly. We travelled we too the tour with a 7 and 13 year old. We are from the US. Eav was the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We really loved the variety of experiences from the fish market, temples and cultural sights. The best was the visit to the primary school. We got to meet the teacher and students of a first grade class. They sang songs and my first grader was able to see how 1st grade looked in Cambodia. I highly recommend taking this tour. It was a one of the highlights of our vacation so far.

The Ultimate Boat Trip – A Truly Unforgettable Experience - Every time we travel, we make a point of booking a boat trip or two—but this one stands out as the absolute best we’ve ever had! Our adventure began with a private Tuk Tuk pickup from our hotel, adding an authentic local touch right from the start. We were taken to a bustling fish market and a beautiful Pagoda, both offering a fascinating glimpse into Cambodian culture before setting off on our ocean escape. Our guide, Sothy, then led us to our boat for the day—a traditional 40-foot fishing vessel, uniquely powered by two car engines. As we cruised out into the open sea, anticipation built for our first stop: line fishing in the middle of the ocean. Initially, I wasn’t sure we’d catch much, but we ended up reeling in plenty—fresh fish that would soon become part of our incredible lunch! Next, we were whisked away to a secluded island, home to a pristine, untouched half-mile-long beach with not another soul in sight. Here, we were treated to an unforgettable beach BBQ, featuring our freshly caught fish alongside mouthwatering beef, chicken, prawn, and squid skewers—all cooked to perfection. To top it off, we had an unlimited supply of ice-cold beers and soft drinks, making for the ultimate tropical feast. Sothy was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and always going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Since we weren’t particularly interested in visiting the market, he happily extended our boat trip, ensuring we got even more time to soak in the beauty of the ocean. What made this trip even more special was that we were the only ones on board, making it an intimate and personal experience we’ll never forget. If you’re looking to escape the crowds of Sihanoukville and indulge in a day of adventure, relaxation, and delicious food, this boat trip is an absolute must! 100% recommended.

A great day - I was in Sihanoukville in February 2025 as a solo traveler with AIDAstella. Booked the tour through "My Shore Excursions" and was completely satisfied. Even as a solo traveler you don't have to worry, everything is well organized. We were a small group of 12 participants and were joined by both our tour guide Chamroeum and Mr. Sothy picked up by Sihanoukville Seaside Tours on time at the meeting point and also brought back to the ship on time. Our guide Chamroeun has given us not only the information about the individual stations but also numerous background information about Cambodia. We visited a primary school, a fishing village, Wat Leu Pagoda and a market hall. Afterwards there was a coffee break at the Don Bosco Hotel, to which a school is also attached. I particularly liked the fact that we got an insight into the social commitment of the foundation. It's something you don't get on other trips. Mr. Sothy is an extremely sympathetic guide who cares about the well-being of his guests and wants to introduce his guests to the beauties of the city with a lot of enthusiasm and authenticity. I will not forget this day in a completely foreign country with such wonderful people. Thank you Sothy & Chamroeun!

Great Tour! - Mr Sothey met us outside the terminal pier. Took us to the fishing area/pier. Walked through the outside fresh fish area. Drove to Wat Krom and visited the reclining Buddha. We were then blessed by the head monk. Had an excellent lunch prepared by the culinary and hotel school that Mr Sothey attended. Delicious! Did a few notable photo op stops. One being the Wedding ceremony figures. And our last stop was the government primary school 5-6 year olds that were having their English lesson for the day. Priceless! FYI: we brought some supplies which were greatly appreciated. Mr Sothey shared pictures of his family and knowledge of the area. He was one of the best tour guides. Thank you….

An amazing day that we‘ll never forget. - We started our tour at Independence Square where we were picked up by our tour guide. At first we went to the harbour and a fish market. It was very busy there and the smell was overwhelming 😊. Then we went to the Wat Krom Temple. The buildings were amazing and our guide told us a lot about Cambodian architecture, culture and history. After that we visited the colourful and crowded Phsar Leu Market. The next stop was the Wat Leu Temple 🛕. We learned a lot about the monks living there and had an amazing view over Sihanoukville. Then we had lunch at the Don Bosco School. It‘s a foundation and our really delicious meal was cooked and served by apprentices. Another highlight was a Dance Performance at that school. Our last stop was at a beach where we could relax and enjoy a drink and the sun. We met a lot of friendly people in Sihanoukville and all in all it was a perfect day that we‘ll never forget.

Best tour so far! - This was an incredible experience! The booking and pickup information was easy and accurate. Started the tour at 8:30 am and visited and stopped off at many great places - the meal was in an excellent restaurant right on the beach and the authentic Cambodian food was delicious. I learnt so much from our guide Sothy. He was so informative, pleasant, and accommodating. I highly recommend this tour - was the best tour I had so far here in South East Asia.

Fabulous city tour and boat trip - I booked this tour for four adults arriving on a Seabourn Cruise yesterday. Sothy met us having sent excellent instructions and we were greeted by his delightful smiling face - what a lovely man . We went on a walk of the local fish market and then asked if we could visit a school as I had read that others had done this . We stopped en route to buy pencils and books for the children and had the most wonderful experience . From there we went onto a boat trip for 4/5 hours and snorkelled , fished and visited a beautiful deserted island beach where we had a wonderful BBQ . It really was an amazing day and I would highly recommend it .
