- Bè Genuine Home Experience - The meeting place is located a few steps from the main beach (La Praia), the NaturArte artistic route and the very famous Praiano watchtower. Once they arrive home, our guests will sit down to drink a glass of wine made by us and taste a small homemade aperitif, after breaking the ice they will get to work. They will prepare the starter, two types of pasta and sauce (depending on the preparation) and the dessert, using products from our garden or from our fishing moments, following our family’s recipes. They will sit at the table enjoying all their work and finishing with the dessert and the handcrafted digestive or digestives. They will leave us with the awareness of having lived a unique experience and having enriched their culinary experience. The menu and recipes vary based on seasonality and the harvest in the garden and the daily catch. Below are some menu examples.

Back in the 1960s, Papa Beniamino (fondly known as “Bè”) delighted guests from around the world with unforgettable culinary experiences. Since 2019, we have been fully committed to making you feel at home, providing genuine and warm hospitality. Incredible hospitality - We had the most wonderful experience at Rocco and Carla’s cooking class! Their home is absolutely charming with incredible views that made the whole experience feel so special. The food was delicious—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor—and they were such gracious, fun hosts. We loved learning their family recipes and can’t wait to recreate them at home. A truly memorable and heartwarming experience we’ll never forget!

Phenomenal Experience! - I truly cannot speak highly enough about Rocco and Carla's cooking class. Many of the experiences on the Amalfi coast can feel inauthentic and touristy, but at Be Genuine, you so clearly get a true experience of what it is like to live in Praiano. Rocco was a wonderfully gracious host - warm, welcoming, and so happy to answer all of our questions about what it is like to live in Italy. Carla, our teacher, spoke fantastic English and had lots of tips and tricks learned over generations of Italian cooking that she was more than happy to share. The ingredients were fresh from their garden and the food was absolutely delicious, but the best part of the experience was certainly getting to know this wonderful family. If you are looking to have an unforgettable experience on your trip, you will not regret booking this experience. Grazie mille, Rocco, Carla, and Alexandro!

Truly a memorable experience in Praiano - My husband and I loved our time with Rocco and Carla. We were looking for an authentic Italian cooking experience rather than a class tailored to tourists. Rocco and Carla provide just that! The atmosphere of their quaint outdoor kitchen, the intimate setting with a small group of guests and the knowledge and experience shared was just perfect! Highly recommend!

Amazing Afternoon in Praiano - My husband and I had a great afternoon with Rocco and his lovely wife. We enjoyed an authentic experience and tasted the most delicious food of our entire trip. The entire process was so easy and we cannot recommend this highly enough. You will have many choices for cooking classes but we strongly encourage you to choose this one!!

Delicious Authentic Cooking Experience - The cooking experience was very authentic. Rocco was very fun and Carla is an expert cook! The food was so fresh and delicious and we had such a fun time with the other 2 couples. Very nice intimate experience with 6 people total.

Authentic Pasta-Making. - Excellent pasta-making experience at a beautiful venue with gorgeous views. Rocco is a wonderful host and his wife, Carla, a superb chef. We also made a beautiful and delicious dessert with mascarpone, cookies and cacao. It was so much fun. Rocco and his wife are just the sweetest. And our pasta and dessert were DELICIOUS!! This is an experience you won't want to miss in Praino. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Amore Be Genuine! - Outstanding cooking experience combined with a very personal sharing of a true farm to table lifestyle made this experience extremely well worth it. The cooking class was extremely fun; my wife and i learned how to make pasta from scratch. Highly recommended way to learn about simple Italian cooking with a husband and wife team who entertained in their home!
