Audio poor but good for getting your bearings in a vast city, but I didn't learn much. The boat trip is amazing though! - The staff that operated the buses were essentially just drivers, they didn't tell us much about our surroundings. Ivo and his colleague (I didn't catch the name, sorry) were the expection to this, however. They were very informative about not just the local sights but also in giving directions to places I needed after the tour - better than the audio guide actually! I was hoping to be given lots of valuable info about the sights I was seeing, but unfortunately this was done via a recording on earphones. This recording was often very quiet, fuzzy, and the voice quite monotone. So I didn't learn much, sorry. Saying that, it is a good way of getting your bearings in a vast city. From just going around the routes and simply being told what the buildings were, I was able to orientate from this point on. Whether it's worth the money for that is a different question, but I'd argue that finding your bearings is more valuable than a good meal. But if you don't need to find your bearings, it probably isn't! The boat tour, however, more than makes up for everything else. Lovely views, food, staff, and most of all - the guide audio is very informative about the history etc.

Day by bus exploring - The buses were crowded at first. We waited 1.5 hours at a bus stop to get on board. The route was beautiful. The river cruise was disappointing.

Not impressive, at all! Poor information and unprofessional staff. - I usually really like Big Bus, however in Prague, there are no marked big bus stops and they are very hard to find. The routes are great, the busses too. One stop (7, Red line) cannot be used after 13.45, and the guide on board the redline did not inform properly about this so we had to walk to another stop. The guide on the green line asked if it was ok to skip stop one, as someone needed to change to the red line at stop 2. We said no, as we paid to see all of the route and we were not responsible for other people’s nor Big Bus’s bad time management. The guide did not talk to us after that, which we found very unprofessional and immature. The sales person on stop 7, selling us the tickets, claimed that other similar companies were scamming tourists, which is not the case. So all in all, not impressive and a lot better and more professional in other cities.

I’d give this a miss - The commentary did not reflect what we where looking at, the address we put into our search engine was not the right place to collect our tickets, this place we had to go to was a kiosk further up the road, when we could have activated them on the bus, instead we walked nearly 20 minutes to the kiosk as per information after purchasing the tickets online....the boat ride was very pleasant with good commentary, I would recommend doing the boat trip…

Not recommended! - The river cruise was fun to do. The red line of the bus was terrible. At stop 1 (The Hilton Hotel) we were waiting for almost an hour in the blazing sun without any communication. The tour guide regularly left the bus. They also had the children with them, who got off the bus at every stop. Absolutely not recommended. You better take the subway to the nice places.

Do not book!!! - Absolute waste of money 48h ticket and virtually never punctual buses. When a bus came it was overcrowded and access was not possible. Better get the UBER APP the drivers are reliable and cheap.

Do not do it. - There were not enough buses available. After the river cruise, we waited over 20 minutes for the bus and there were too many people so not everyone was able to get on the bus. We started walking to the castle instead. When we wanted to hop on again we could NOT find the location to pick it up. We had to walk back to the hotel. I would not spend the money, it was not worth it. Just walk every where or get a taxi.
