Frustrating looking for the invisible stops - We booked the tickets for our hop on hop off through the tourist information centre. Not the same company we used the year before in Budapest. One morning we walked around for over an hour looking for a certain bus stop, number I can’t remember, got so frustrated so decided to have a beer, we happened to walk past a gentleman with an umbrella who told us our stop was literally in front of us, by the white car he said, how on earth were we supposed to find an invisible bus stop. We spent a lot of time looking for the invisible bus stop, especially when we went to the castle, what a nightmare that was, our 48 hour pass ran out at 3pm, soaking wet we finally got on the bus at 3.45, the same bus assistant scanned our ticket, saw our frustration and let us on, otherwise we would have had to buy another 24 hour ticket, we were going home the next day. Not the best experience

Don´t go - Avoid, one of the worst turistic trap! Not reliable, overpriced and not interesting. It is used only to get some cash from tourtist.

RUN FAR AWAY. Do BigBus instead - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Our experience with City Sightseeing in Berlin was disorganized and irritating, but we were willing to give it another chance in Prague. This turned out to be an incredibly disappointing waste of time and money. We purchased the 48 hour bus pass with the boat tour. The main issue is there is no app to track the buses or know when they are coming. The only way you can figure out the scheduled times is by getting one of their maps which is only available at the main office (which also inconveniently closes at 4 pm!). They list nothing about the times on their website at all. We waited at one of the stops for almost an hour before giving up and taking public transit to the main office. The buses also only stop at each place once an hour on the red line which is insane. We did the blue line and the boat the first day, which were just alright. The audio guide is sparse with the information and has a lot of dead air between stops. The bus was so rickety that it was hard to get good pictures, and the stops are poorly planned so you can’t actually see any of the important buildings without getting off and walking. The boat tour was pretty short and disappointing as well because you don’t get to see much and you have to walk about 15 minutes off the bus just to get to the pier. Just more poor planning with the stop locations. Then on our second day, we waited at stop 8 on the red line. The bus showed up on schedule but the driver REFUSED TO STOP. We waved at him and he waved us off and kept driving! They advertise being able to “hop on and hop off anywhere” but clearly this is not the case. I have never experienced such terrible customer service and disorganization in my life, and I’ve done a lot of these bus tours all over Europe. Save your money and do Big Bus instead - it’s much more organized, you can track their buses through the app (seriously, who doesn’t have an app for this kind of thing in 2025??), and their buses come a lot more frequently. This whole experience was a waste of almost $100.

Hop off and walk the extra mile !! - We were told the bist was next to the Bus Station. Instead we had to walk for a kilometer in the heat with a blazing sun. By the time we arrived at the peer the boat had left. So we had to wait for Smithers half an hour to get the next boat. An experience to avoid.

Poor service, small buses and hidden stops - Bad experience! Capacity much lower than necessary, always buses full, places where the extremely confusing points were... Anyway, the worst experience of my life. I paid expensive to practically walk! And another, we were at the point near the Prague Castle, three buses passed, we made the signal to stop and simply ignored us, we were with two elderly and a baby in the womb, we had to walk back from Prague Castle to the main square. The next day we arrived to pick up a bus at Torre de pólvora square, we were in line waiting for the bus, there were so many people that we couldn’t get on board, almost no one comes down and several people to get up. Extremely absurd! I want my money back or I'll call on competent authorities.

Poor Service and Unfulfilled Promises - I am writing to express my disappointment with the service provided during our recent experience with your hop-on hop-off bus service. We purchased two 24-hour tickets on [date] at 11:02 AM, expecting to be able to use the service freely within that time frame. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what was advertised: • On the first day, we only managed to take two rides due to long wait times and a lack of available buses. • The following morning, we were at the stop at 9:30 AM, right when service was supposed to begin, but no bus ever arrived. We waited for a considerable time with no information or assistance. • When we attempted to speak with a staff member about the issue, he told us he was too busy to help. This poor service meant we were unable to use the tickets as intended, resulting in wasted time and money. We feel that the service did not meet the expectations set by your advertised schedule and availability.

Disappointed - Do not be fooled by city sights hop on hop off bus. The buses were filled when we wanted to get picked up which defeats the purpose of “hop on”. It is basically just a get on once and hop off once. Would definitely not recommend. The audio was also not great on the bus. Big Bus on the other hand always had room for people. Would definitely give that a shot if you are set on doing a hop on hop off bus.
