Highlights
  • Pilsner Urquell: The Original Beer Experience - Discover the story of Pilsner Urquell, the world’s first golden lager that revolutionized the beer industry 180 years ago!

In The Original Tour, we will transport you back in time through immersive audioguide, video mapping, light shows and projection to explain how the first pilsner beer was created. You will taste our golden beer while meeting our first brewmaster, and with your senses already stimulated, you will experience the brewing processes - our ingredients, the hot brewhouse, or chilly cellars! You will understand the importance of foam in each of the perfect Czech beer pours and, before leaving the storytelling floor, a lot of fun will be waiting for you in our 360° game hall.

The tour continues in our iconic Beer Hall upstairs, where you can taste two more beers served by our friendly tapsters or participate in one of our shows! And if you visit our brand shop, you can take home a personalized hand-engraved beer mug or a bottled Pilsner Urquell with your name on it.

Interactive museum with a delicious finish - The museum is entertaining and interactive. The drinking break in between is a great cooling off and then it's off into the wide world of beer. Finally, there are two beers of your choice. Top!

Great way to spend an hour - We quite enjoyed this tour. The way it is laid out is cool and the use of headsets that automatically pick up where you are and tell you the relevant information is very well done. Friendly staff, and not too packed with people.

Great interactive experience for solo travelers! - I went solo as something to do in Prague, and I had a great time! You do the self-paced tour by yourself and then do a tasting with whoever is around you. I then spent almost 2 hours in the beer hall. The beer is some of the best I’ve had so far.

Nice experience - Experience recommended! We saw from the outside and not confident of being able to do the experience because accompanied by our dog, they told us that there were no problems, so we could do the experience. It was very funny and above all interesting, also, since the Internet did not work as an “excuse” they gave us a free beer, much appreciated!

Fantastic new way to experience beer! - We learnt so much during this experience about the history of beer and Pilsner Urquell in Prague! The experience begins with an amazing tour with combines animations, sculptures and audio to take you through the history of the Pilsner. Along the way you are treated to a Pilsner Urquell and learn about its different servings and what makes its foam so special. You also get two beers at the end in their Beer Hall upstairs and 10% off in the gift shop! Best tasting beer we’ve had in Prague/ever!! Would highly recommend…provided you like beer!

TOP! - We chose the path of beer history, an interactive museum that Guides you to discover this nectar. Along the way you are offered a taste of beer. At the end of the route a nice interactive game to do with the family. At the end, before leaving, you are given 1 discount for the shop, a discount for the restaurant and 2 tokens to taste 2 cups of beer for free. With us was my 9-year-old son who was offered soft drinks. It was really a beautiful experience over-sealed

Beer - It was ok. You'll be guided through the rooms, a bit unimpressed with the tour. I thought the price was too high for what’s offered.

Disappointing - After reading so many good reviews we were really looking forward to this during our visit to Prague however we felt that the price for this experience was way too high for what you get. The experience was very short and not overly enjoyable.

Very Desappointing! - We found the visit and experience at Pilsenner Original Beer in Prague to be clearly disappointing and far below our expectations. The disappointment is even greater in view of the high price charged, which in our opinion makes the quality-price ratio very poor. Not surprisingly, there were very few people there on the day we visited, in the middle of August, a month full of tourists and visitors to Prague. The audio-guides didn't work well and there was a power cut. I'd like to highlight the poor presence of human support throughout the visit, with the few employees working in various roles. Just as an example, I mention the final stage, an entertainment room, where the guide gave instructions in a hurry and left to attend to visitors arriving for the experience, without realizing or taking care that the table games didn't have balls/discs. Another disappointment was the tasting room, a closed room, when we were expecting a panoramic room. I think the company, which doesn't appear to be struggling financially, should give its customers a much better experience and take a less economic and greedy view of the business. Best Regards, Pedro Pintassilgo
