Additional Information

We spend 2 hours walking around Prague, seeing iconic places and learning about recent history of former Czechoslovakia during the Cold War period.

Then we enjoy 30-mins break for a lunch or Kofola drink in an authentic working-class canteen from 70s (optional).

Finally we visit a Nuclear bunker, which evoke the paranoia of the 1950’s. The bunker admission fee 250CZK (10 EUR) is included in the price.

We like dialogue, so the group size is limited up to 15 people.

Not only will you discover how the average Czech lived, worked and played under communism, but you will also hear stories and anecdotes from your local guide, who will bring the old days back to life!

You will also see historical photos of the events, people, buildings and statues, many of them now destroyed.

Fantastic tour on unique topics - Loved this specialized tour through Prague's communist history! Kla'ra is a very knowledgable and friendly guide. She touches on all the significant events of the past 100 years and you visit the locations where things happened. She walks you down the special shortcuts and takes you to an authentic Czech canteen for lunch. I would book another tour with Kla'ra in a heartbeat!

Do not miss this experience - Eye opening experience. Didn’t realize how in depth this tour was going to be and couldn’t imagine having not done it now. Lada was our guide and he made the tour what it was. Personal anecdotes, complete knowledge, well timed jokes.

Bunker down - The whole tour was memorable, but the bunker was the best part. So much history; must remember to avoid again.
