No dull moments - We are very happy that we booked this tour. It is nice to see the villages, know how people live and learn the culture. Our guide named Vagelis made it so fun that there is no dull moments during the entire trip. We've got a photographer as well. This is highly recommended though cave of Zeus is closed during our tour because it is too late for us to come to Crete. A lot of businesses started to close for the winter season. According to the locals the best time to come is from May to september. But we will definitley go back and book other trips with safari experts of course.

Wonderful experience - We had a wonderful day on this tour. The tour guide Manu was excellent, very knowledgeable and accommodating. He made sure we had a feel for the local friendship from the islanders. We experience the local food that was incredible tasty and plentiful. I would recommend this guide and the tour.

Great tour, anytime again! - Great tour, great guides ("Jesus" and Ron?), much seen and experienced. It was fun even if the Zeus cave was unfortunately closed.

not cheap but great - The tour was really nice. Our driver and guide Jorgos was really world class. He was super nice, funny, was able to tell us a lot of interesting things about Crete's culture and history and also entertained the children with his manner. Everything we were shown was very interesting. Among other things, we tried homemade goat cheese and olive oil on a farm and milked goats. We enjoyed a nice coffee on the Lasithi plateau. We saw the reservoir at Aposelemis Dam, were in a pottery (the children were even allowed to participate). Then we had a really delicious lunch in a tavern in Krasi before we could visit the oldest plane tree on the island at about 2400 years old. Finally, we visited an olive oil factory and were able to see how olive oil is produced past and present. The Zeus cave was unfortunately closed and not part of our tour. But it was still a very successful and beautiful day. The tour is really worth it. The only downer: for a family of five, the price of almost €450 is quite a house number. But I can’t really classify this either, because I don’t know the costs of the organizer. After our review, it was still worth it. Thank you for that.

Wonderful, authentic and inspiring - An incomparable experience - to get to know not only the outstanding landscape, but also the culture and hospitality of Manos in one day. Manos knows at every point either the historical, mythical or geological history, thrilled with its wonderful way for Crete and the people. It was a pity that the trip came to an end - we felt very comfortable, had mega fun riding off road with AC/DC ́s Thunderstruck and can only warmly recommend the whole team!!

Very disappointed - Following the many positive reviews, we did not hesitate for a second to book this activity. We were picked up at the hotel by a very friendly guide who spoke a little French, which allowed time to join the group to share a pleasant moment and have qq explanations. He told us that we will join a group with a few other French as well as a French translator. Once all gathered, we left for the safari day. The caves are now closed for work, which has changed the route. The activities were friendly but so we were very numerous in the same place because we were with all the other jeep. We expected it to be touristic but not to that extent. The biggest disappointment of the day was the French translator. He was in duplicate with his colleague because he has only been in Crete for a few months and does not yet know how to do the day alone. He was friendly, but that's not enough! The main guide spoke in English for the group in general and the new guide was unable to translate what his colleague was saying except for a few basic words that we all understood. When he understood us, not knowing much about Crete, he was unable to answer our questions. The English present with us felt so sorry for us that they tried to translate the explanations regularly. We did the same between French. Before booking here, we wanted to book with another provider who honestly told us he no longer had a French guide and let us cancel our service. We would have liked the same here. We put 3 stars because we were in a very friendly group, but to pay this price for a visit of which half the things are not understood would deserve 1 star.
