History comes alive through your car speakers - Excellent narration brought Skye's past to life as we drove. The app's audio quality remained crisp throughout, and the balance between commentary and quiet drive time was perfect. It sparked fascinating conversations between us and deepened our appreciation of the island.

Accessible touring for all abilities - The app provided great info on accessibility at each stop, including terrain difficulty. This helped our group plan our stops effectively, considering one friend's mobility issues. It made our trip inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

Tech-savvy touring at its finest - As a solo traveler, this app was my perfect companion. User-friendly interface made navigation a breeze. Loved how the GPS-triggered audio started automatically as I approached points of interest. The app's battery usage was surprisingly efficient too. It felt like having a knowledgeable local friend guiding me around the island.

Very nice and interesting self-guided tour! - Very interesting self guided driving tour! Lots of history and facts about the Isle of Slye. Easy to use and follow. Bit of a shame is that the phone app didn‘t connect with the car navigation system, but we just followed the phone, so no problem. A few turns were announced a bit late, which caused some uncontrolled driving Be aware that there are a few hour long hikes in this itinerary, we started at 10.00, that‘s too late so we skipped the Quaraing and just did the 10 min walk at the Fairy Glen. If you want to do the Fairy Pools, this is in another self-guided tour from Trippy, not in this one

Don’t recommend - Clunky interface. Not flexible. Didn’t work as download- had to have cell signal. We read some history of places and that’s about all we used it for. SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE THIS! Can’t even believe you charge for it. Don’t recommend

Disappointed - Dissatisfied. Very clunky interface that’s not intuitive at all and hard to move around. Doesn’t move with you. Still looks for a gps signal even though I downloaded in advance. Also - only one part of Skye- misses many great sites. Don’t recommend

Very disappointing - I'm reluctant to give a poor rating but I feel I owe candor to my fellow travellers. Clunky unless you start at the beginning and follow in the prescribed loop. Disliked the narrator's voice and, in any case, a Scottish accent would have been better. Most disappointing was the vapid content. And the gratuitous safety warnings were irritating.

Expensive driving directions. - The audio tour is mostly driving directions and safety tips. There is very little information about the history and culture. That might be fine for some people but I was expecting more given the price. Also, the audio came late so we had just passed a turn when it played. It is scary to turn around on the Scottish roads so we just kept going, missing a few of the sights.
