A tailored tour from Harold. - Excellent tour with Harold. Our tour group ended up being our family of 4 and Harold was an excellent host who tailored the tour to our requirements. Great balance of historical facts and current points of interest were shared on the 2 hour tour. Great to meet local people who want to share the story of their respective city. Highly recommended.

Perfect and lovely tour with Diogo - Diogo is a great tour guide ! I'm still learning English, but I was able to enjoy the tour because it was easy to explain. He gladly took pictures and the results were good. You should host the tour with him! He is so kind, pleasant, and knowledgeable! Hurry up and sign up for the tour Thank you so much Diogo :)

Best tour of Porto with the best guide, Borja - My best freetour. Borja, the best guide. I didn’t bet much on this tour, there were many of us and it wasn’t in Porto if not in front, in Gaia. But a freetour is neither good nor bad per se, it depends on the guide. And this was the best. I have fallen in love with this other half of Porto that I hadn’t even considered knowing. After a vibrant and emotional historical introduction it hooked us all 27 of the group and from there everything was interesting anecdotes, rigorous data and take us to cool corners. And every time I traveled, between stops and stops, I found time to be interested in each member of the group and their history. He took us to secret corners, left us open-mouthed listening to stories of characters, dislikes, inheritances, wars... And on the verge of letting out a tear with a story of love and betrayal 😅 And I complement some good recommendations for eating and shopping. A 100 out of 10

Very interesting tour 😊 - Sofia was an excellent guide who showed us so many nice (and partly hidden) places. Her historical stories were so interesting, that I will never forget them 😉

Amazing viewpoints, but dishonest ‘free’ tour - Very deceived by this “free” walking tour. Having done multiple free walking tours during my travels, I was very surprised to see that the tour guide here (Inês) started the tour by demanding a minimum 10€ to 50€ contribution PER person to be given at the end of the tour. I was extremely surprised, especially knowing that I had paid 4€ on TripAdvisor by reserving the tour. No cable car trip was included, and no visits of cellars or wine shops, in the famous Villa Nova da Gaia. The other feee walking tours I had done, in Peru for example, included chocolate tastings, visits of famous landmarks in Cusco and visits of touristic shops, all for 2€-5€. Although Inês was a great storyteller, told us the history of Porto and Gaia, and showed us amazing viewpoints, I was deceived by her dishonesty when requiring us to pay a rather big amount of money for a basic level walking tour. I would not recommend taking this tour if you think you will only pay 2-5€ max, like other free walking tours around the world.
