Starting in Aveiro, a museum city known for its Art Nouveau, birdlife, and salt pans, you’ll encounter some of the country’s most stunning buildings. The tour includes a traditional “moliceiro” boat ride along the canals. After sampling the typical regional sweets, take a stroll through the center where we will visit the Cathedral, St. Joana Museum, and the fish market. You will then have some free time for lunch.
Next, we will take you to Coimbra, renowned as a student city with a remarkable university. Brimming with monuments and historical treasures, this city is ready for you to explore. We will start with the Cathedral of Coimbra, St. Cruz Church, and the Historical City Center, followed by the University of Coimbra, where you can opt for an inside visit.
Finally, you will be driven back to your accommodation in Oporto.
