Holidays with wife at Doro valley - It was fantastic tour with supportive tour Guid. We enjoyed a lots, wine testing was amazing, boarding was enjoyable and interesting with beautiful views and scenery, we loved it I have recommended my friends to visit the place.

Douro Walley enriching trip - We would like to thank our guide, Ricardo, and our driver, Julio, for an amazing trip to the Douro Valley. We received enriching and detailed information about wine production, along with various fun facts and interesting insights. We traveled with a small child, and the trip was baby-friendly—we even had a car seat on the bus, so it was completely comfortable for families. Ricardo created a great atmosphere during the ride, and Julio is an excellent driver. We felt safe throughout the journey. Thank you once again!

Fabulous Douro Valley day trip from Porto! - I'm a little late with this review, but on Sept 11/24 our group of 28 did a full day tour with CMTours to Douro Valley visiting 2 wineries with a wonderful lunch at 1 of the wineries and then a 1 hour boat trip up the Douro River. Our guide IVO SOUSA was fabulous!!! Also many thanks to our great driver Julio and thanks to Tatiana for setting this all up for my group. Everyone said it was a FABULOUS day!!! Thanks again to Ivo, Julio and Tatiana!! It will be a day that will be kept in our memories!

Great experience to forever remember ! - The winery, Santa Julia, was wonderful & the porto wines are great. The Douro Valley is just amazing with how they planted the grape vines.....can't imagine the amount of labor they put in.

The tour is a must whether you like wine or not - Great experience! The tour is a must whether you like wine or not. The views and experience are incredible! Ivo and the driver Zé were fantastic! Ivo has a humor that will make your trip very fun. 100% recommended. Don't forget to bring cash to buy beer and water on the boat, since they don't accept cards.

Good bang for your buck - Our tour guide Ivo, did a great job keeping the tour informational and entertaining. The tour was a reasonable price for the experience. For us, it included four wine tastings, a lunch (with wine), and a sample of olive oil. The boat tour was not necessary, but included also. We felt it was things we had seen already just from a different point of view, and it didn’t add much to the tour (saw better views from the wine farm, bus, etc.). Maybe if the boat ride came first, the tour would not feel as stretched long. The bus is also worth mentioning; it was very nice, comfortable, and with A/C. You will learn lots about the process of table and port wine making and history of the Douro Valley!

Great wines and guide. Food not great. - The wine tour of the Douro valley was unbelievable. Our guide Francisco as very knowledgeable re the wine and region. He was also very friendly. The lunch could have been a lot better. Whilst we love trying traditional foods, I felt tripe as a main was a crowd splitter and really seemed more like a cost cutting exercise than an actual pleasant experience for travellers as there are many other traditional foods that could have achieved the goal of traditional food. This really impacted the experience as we were so hungry and wanted to eat to ensure we balanced food with wine during the tour.
