A joyful Trip - The giude and driver has a nice arrangement to setup the whole trip, we enjoy the wine and olive oil tasting then take a train to view the Duro river. Next, we have a cherrful lunch. The final activity is boating on the Duro river, we have a nice time during sailing the boat.

Great scenic trip in Portugal - Whole experience was great. We enjoyed boat ride and winery visit the most. Douro valley is a beautiful place and this was a very good way to see it.

Great experience, great value! - Incredible views of the Douro valley. Mini bus collection from the centre of Porto, a (longish) drive, approx 1 1/2 hours into the Douro valley, a boat trip, great (and substantial!) lunch, train ride back to the mini bus, a vineyard tour and tasting, and then back to Porto. 8 hours in all, but our guide Manuel was exceptional, keeping our interest, and passing on lots of detail of the area and other towns, villages, restaurants, and vineyards we could visit. A very capable young man, and a good driver to boot!!
Thought we might have been overpaying, but actually this was good value. Highly recommended.

The Very Best Way to Spend a Day in Peso de Regua on the Douro River! - My husband and I had limited time in the Duoro Region, and chose to spend it in Peso da Regua, a former hub for transporting wine on to Porto.
To get the most out of our time, we took the suggestion of our Hotel, and booked a private tour with DeltaTur (https://www.deltatur.pt/) as they had a tour which was perfect for us!
We were picked up at our Hotel in a late model Mercedes, driven by our wonderful guide Antonio. First stop, after a drive quite high in the hills, along mostly quaint cobblestone roads, we arrived at a Winery for a wine tasting (3 wines and a port), and a tour of the old, prior, olive oil production facility, and then a tasting of their excellent olive oils.
Next stop was to the train station where we rode to the next town, Pinhao, in vintage coaches where the windows went down allowing unobstructed view of the breath-taking scenery. We returned to Regua via a private boat owned by DeltaTur, along with only 6 others (with another DeltaTur guide), so it was still very private. The boat ride was amazing...there are not enough superlatives to describe the beautiful scenery! After returning to Regua, we had lunch in a picture-perfect restaurant situated at a bend in the river, for yet another great view.
Throughout all of this, our tour guide Antonio was great - informative, attentive and very helpful. The other staff of DeltaTur were also friendly and helpful, giving the impression that they were very happy in their jobs. This was truly a first class experience, which we heartily recommend!!
Thanks again Antonio!

Best Private Tour of Porto and Douro Valley! - Antonio was PERFECT! From his very nice Mercedes to his excellent driving skills to his knowledge of the area and everything in between. We felt like he could have been one of our friends for the day. He went above and beyond the whole time and did it with a constant smile. He’s genuine hospitality.

Douro Valley Daytrip from Porto - Great daytrip from Porto to Douro River Valley. Antonio Cardoso was incredible driver and guide, charming and fun! Easy pick up and return at our hotel in spotless Mercedes and full of stops with vineyard tasting/tour, nice riverside train trip for lovely lunch overlooking the Douro, and thrn boat ride back to car. Antonio even took us for quick detour to beautiful and historic Amarante with it Renaissance church and monastery. I highly recommend 👌

Great day on the Douro - Wonderful day in a small group, which added to the experience, and a fantastic enormous lunch with plenty of local wine. The boat and train rides were both leisurely and scenic, plus the winery fare at Quinta do Tedo was excellent. But most important was the guide, Gonçalo, who was just wonderful in both French and English, covering all the local information and going out of his way to help us return to our hotel.

Amazing tour. Mixed view about the food. - I would have given this a 5-star rating if the food had a better option. With international guests from around the world who may not be accustomed to Portuguese food, other selection should be made available. My friends and I did not enjoy the food at all.
Otherwise, everything else was TOP-NOTCHED. The guides, Ricardo, Diana, and Tiago were first class! They were friendly, entertaining, knowledgeable, & informative. The wine tasting was excellent, although I would have thought they'd be served with some crackers or a bit of cheese. All in all, the tour has exceeded our expectation! But please review your food menu.

Really Disappointed - This trip did not live up to my (maybe too high) expectations
- Started late from Porto and a very long car ride to the destination
- The boat ride was beautiful, lovely area, but was cramped as there were too many people on board
- The lunch was a disgrace, a restaurant catering to what seemed about a hundred people, plastic chairs next to the road, food looked so bad we hardly touched it.
- Train ride was great, even if short.
- the wine tasting up the hill was scenic and done with much enthusiasm by the local employee
I had expected something much better / premium considering the price and description.
