Engaging, Witty, and Beautiful - I could not imagine a more perfect Douro experience. Our tour guide, Carlos (and our boat tour guide, Diego) were WORLD CLASS. Informative, witty, engaging, and loads of fun. My partner and I kept thinking “I am so happy we choose this tour over others the others”— I am sure the other tours are great, but this one was phenomenal. Carlos is hilarious and exceptional at what he does. Douro valley is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and this tour group does an exceptional job at letting you experience every ounce of it. You can’t go wrong here. Thank you Deltatur!!!

Greatest experience☀️🤞🏻🥂 - We had the greatest time, our guide Vitor was waiting for us at the assigned meeting point and was 100 % ready to give is an Experience of a lifetime. We listened to both Portuguese and Danish music in the car, sang along as best we could, joked and laughed as only friends can do, and that was the feeling we got from Vitor, a new friend. The tour was everything we wished for and the Guide twice as much. We highly recommend this trip, and if you are lucky, your guide could be the fantastic VITOR. Tanks again to my new found friend, with ❤️ from us all🤞🏻

Wonderful Experience - The best way to tour the Douro! We spent the whole day touring the Douro Valley with our wonderful guide Antonio Cardoso. Antonio went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, provided us with all his knowledge and really made the experience exceptional. This was the perfect day trip to The Valley, it included a ride down the river via boat, a lunch with amazing views of the river and wine country, and a train ride to the winery for the tasting. From the beautiful views to terrific company, photo ops, perfect weather, an incredible traditional meal, and the wine and port! If we had to do it again, we would absolutely request Antonio again. Could not recommend this experience enough to those thinking about exploring Porto’s unbelievable wine country.

Awesome Price To Full A Day of Fun - Great guides and very organized. To have that many people to attend and get them moving from place to place timely is an art. We did stopped at a small town, did wine tasting at a nice winery, ate lunch at a beautiful places restaurant on a hill, and did a boat ride on the Douro River. I meant with all those things to do for the price, I highly recommend! Great way to see a lot in one full day!

Wow!!! - First, Rita our driver/guide was excellent. The Douro Valley is to be seen, it is beautiful. Just the scenery is worth the cost of the ticket. It is complete with the boat ride as well as the train ride. We have breathtaking views. Lunch was very good too.

The description of the... - The description of the tour did not adequately explain that the majority of time of the 7 hour tour would be composed of 4+ hours in the shuttle bus, which was crowded and with inadequate air-conditioning. We made only one brief stop to admire the terraced hillside but no other stops as other groups have experienced. Our guide was not forth-coming with much history of the area. The tour description did not explain that the boat ride was just a little out and back trip circle, followed by a short train ride to the ending in Regua, and then boarding the shuttle bus back to Porto. The wine tasting was good but not particularly outstanding, followed by the upselling of the wine for sale. Food was in a small, enclosed restaurant, typical Portugese faire which was good, but there was no terrace or river view. All in all, disappointed.
