- Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area - We will depart downtown Portland and drive east alongside the Columbia River to Troutdale, known as the Gateway to the Gorge! We will join the beautiful Historic Columbia River…
- Director Park - Our central meeting location and pick up point! A beautiful, urban park in the middle of Downtown Portland.
- Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area - We will depart downtown Portland and drive east alongside the Columbia River to Troutdale, known as the Gateway to the Gorge! We will join the beautiful Historic Columbia River Highway, the first planned scenic roadway in the United States.
- Vista House - Typically, our first stop for the day is the Crown Point Vista House. This famous overlook sits 733 feet above the Columbia River, atop the remains of a lava flow that swept through the Gorge around 14 to 17 million years ago! Here, we will find amazing 180-degree views of the Columbia River Gorge and explore the Vista House. An intricately designed observatory and museum, the Vista House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
- Latourell Falls - From the Vista House, we will drive deeper into the Columbia River National Scenic Area. Our first waterfall for the day will be the dramatic Latourell Falls which plunges 249 feet over a massive wall of columnar basalt. Depending on the season, a short “/4-mile trail hike will be led to get a closer view of the falls.
- Multnomah Falls - The next waterfall we will visit will be the famed Multnomah Falls. Plummeting 620 feet in two major steps, Multnomah Falls is the highest waterfall in Oregon and second highest in the nation! Here, we can explore the Multnomah Falls Historic Lodge (a Cascadian style stone and timber lodge built in 1925) as well as the beautiful Multnomah Falls itself. The easily accessible viewing platform offers a full view of the Benson Bridge and cascading falls beyond it.
- Horsetail Falls- Columbia River Gorge - We will spend about 10 minutes enjoying this overlooked gem right off of the historic highway!
- Director Park - We end our tour back at Director Park, our central drop off location in the heart of Downtown Portland.

aaron rocks - aaron was amazing! we had such a good time and learned so much. i definitely reccomend STARTING your trip with this. we ended up eating at one of his recommendations (kens artisan pizza) and it was AMAZING. i wish we could’ve done everything he recommended!!! he’s also a GREAT photographer.
The office also has great customer service and quick response time for any questions you may have.

Amazing TOUR and D' tour guide - Dave is specular! He has humor and wits, is on time, customer-oriented, and knows the place. The van is spacious and drives safely to the tour site and back.

Highlight of my trip! - I had a really great time on this tour! Our guide David was so knowledgeable about the locations and city of Portland. We had plenty of time to enjoy each location we stopped at. I’m so glad I booked this!

We so enjoy even though only 4 hrs . Hopefully see him again . Everything is smooth, we have hot tea in cold and rain to make us warmer. Pick up on time. Thank you very much.

Amazing tour and knowledgeable guide! - Our guide Mel was knowledgeable and personable. She had some great info and trivia about Portland the city as she drove us out to the Gorge and to see the many waterfalls on our tour. She was eager to show off the wonders of this gorgeous area. Highly recommend doing this tour, the pick up process was quick and easy. The van we traveled in was comfortable. Mel even offered water bottles and hot tea options to keep us warm on what ended up being a rainy afternoon.

Great Guide and Tour. - This tour is exactly as stated. Well worth the money ... we had about 8-9 people on the tour in a high-top van. GREAT local guide, and we stopped at many waterfalls and got up close and personal. We were able to approach most of the falls very up close and could get misty wet very easily. Absolutely gorgeous! Multinomah Falls was busy, but we only had a short walk to the overlooks. You can se why this is such a popular stop for tourists and cruise ship passengers. Our pick-up spot was right across the street from our Paramount Hotel. On time, and very convenient. We had a beautiful day and wonderful tour.
