Great Experience! - Tyler did a great job guiding the tour. Very knowledgeable and easy going. He pointed out several intricate details on buildings that we would have missed. Very enjoyable. The cookie at the end of the tour is a nice touch. Thank you Tyler!

Ask for Ross - When you sign up for this tour, be sure to ask for Ross to be your guide. He might know more about Portland than any other citizen. He might even get you into the gorgeous Customs House. And he's very entertaining!

Dig deep into Portland Maine's history - Tyler is an excellent tour guide with a wealth of knowledge about Portland's Old Port. My husband and I were very intrigued when hearing about the infrastructure beginnings of Portland as a seaport, the town's role in the Revolutionary War era and the underground railroad. Some very influential people have made Portland their home (e.g., Henry Wadsworth Longfellow). We highly recommend the history tour as a starting point to your time in Portland!!
