History tour…with donuts! - Ben was great! We toured Portland at a leisurely pace that included various historical stories. At the three donut stops, some background about the shop was included and how the donuts were made. I would better describe this tour as a historical tour that had some donuts, which is not a bad thing!

Not your average donut tour! - We retired and have lived in Cape Elizabeth for the past 7 years. Family came up for the October holiday and we wanted to do something different. We use Viator when we travel so we booked this donut tour. It was great. The donuts were unique. And our tour guide’s (Ben?) narration and choice of how to layout the walking portion was so thoughtful.

We had a good time! - We had a good time! Our guide, Ben, kept it interesting! He had a good mix of history and interesting facts about the city and the donuts. It never got boring and the donuts were delicious. I will say, the description says it's a "casual, 1 mile walk". It may be one mile, but I would argue the "casual" part. Just know that you have to keep it moving. Also, Portland is quite hilly and the brick and cobblestone sidewalks and roads can make it a little challenging (we had a person with a cane with us). All in all, we had a great time, learned alot, and had yummy donuts. We are glad we chose to do it!

Meh. Wouldn’t do it again - Although Ben was a good guide we were disappointed with the majority of the donuts. Eighty 8 donuts were GREAT. The were hot and fresh, which is what they are known for The donuts from holy donut were ok. Different concept being potato donuts. Not much flavor. Wi-fi donuts were dense and really tasted almost stale. Of the 1/4 piece we had gave most of it to the birds.
