Pleasant 90 minute boat... - Pleasant 90 minute boat cruise around Casco Bay and the lighthouses. Waters were rough but Captain and his mate were attentive and fun. This is not a guided tour but all questions were answered and sights were pointed out. Enjoyable.

Really fun, informative tour - Really fun and full of information. The tour guides were excellent. Great experience, highly recommended.

Fantastic—fun and informative! - My husband and I did a 9 day vaca up the coast in Maine and ended in Portland. On the last day, we did this great 1.5 hour tour on the Ruth that fit our time and budget and it was fantastic! We saw 4-5 lighthouses, some old forts, and many islands. The captain and first mate were very knowledgable about the history of the different things and we learned a lot. PLUS, they were pleasant and friendly and competent. It was a fantastic activity for our last day.

A wonderful experience - Captain Colby and first mate Erica were incredible. We made a mistake in our scheduling and they totally accommodated us. Plus they were extremely informative and a pleasure to spend time with. The company is thoughtful, skillful and genuinely friendly. High recommendations from my husband and me!

Perfect morning activity - This was such a great experience! We did the 10:30 ride and it was perfect timing for our day. Ruth was the perfect boat size for us — we didn’t want to be with too many people and we wanted to be close to the water. We learned so much and saw all the sites on the water. Highly recommend!!

Masterpiece - Beautiful view of Portland and the lighthouses. Guides were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We saw seals, a dolphin, Osprey and nest, and lots of birds. Lighthouses were Beautiful.

Amazing trip in a 100 sailboat - Such an amazing experience. The captain and his crew were very friendly and informative. It was so cool to sail on a 100 year old boat! My daughter even got to steer! I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Portland!

Eddie and Yuri’s Experience - Nick was an absolute fount of information which made the boat ride an enjoyable experience. As we viewed nature in all of its Godly glory, we were educated by Nick about virtually everything we were observing. We will be returning to Maine, and our first order of business will be to book Nick and Luke.

Beautiful trip with lots of great info - We had a great morning trip with Captain Luke and guide Nick from the Portland Schooner Company. Nick provided great information about the lighthouses, islands, and forts that we saw along the way. We sailed in on a cruise ship and the meeting point was a short walk from there. Highly recommend!

Expect a boat ride - Captain Greg and Mate Rowan (sp?) were great. The tour was a bit lack luster though. We barely stopped at one of the 3 lighthouses (barely counting the smallest one). There was very little mentioned in terms of history or info about the lighthouses. Was more of a general perusing of the Portland bay and looking at the scenery.
