Port Said to Cairo

Port Said - Upon your cruise ship’s arrival at Port Said port, a representative will greet you at the exit door, holding a sign with your name. You will then be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo, a journey of approximately 3 hours.

Pyramids of Giza - Upon arrival in Cairo, enjoy a visit to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Continue to the Great Sphinx, featuring a pharaoh’s head on a lion’s body, dating back to Chephren’s era. The tour also includes the Valley Temple, associated with the Pyramids of Chephren. This temple served two purposes: purifying the king’s mummy before burial and facilitating the king’s mummification process. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

There is an option to enter any of the pyramids, ride a camel around the Giza pyramids, or enjoy a quad bike ride in the vast desert. These activities can be added during the booking process for an additional fee.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Continue the journey to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure, built in the 3rd dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Egyptian Museum / Salah Din Citadel/ Port Said

Egyptian Museum - After breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide will escort you to the Egyptian Museum, showcasing artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum houses a rare collection of 5,000 years of art, considered the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian artifacts globally. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are displayed, including a dedicated exhibit to the Tutankhamun collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, which remained in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo.

Cairo Citadel - Proceed to the Salah El Din Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, designed by architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish architect who traveled from Istanbul to construct this magnificent mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849), who governed Egypt for over 45 years.

Port Said - Finally, travel back to the port in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Return to your cruise ship in Port Said for your final departure.
