• Batu Caves - Batu Caves is a limestone hill featuring a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor. The limestone forming Batu Caves is estimated to be around 400 million years old. Some cave entrances were historically used as shelters by the indigenous Temuan people, a tribe of Orang Asli. The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan, and serves as the focal point of the Thaipusam festival in Malaysia. Batu Caves is also known as the 10th Cave or Hill for Lord Muruga, with six important holy shrines in India and four in Malaysia. The other three in Malaysia are Kallumalai Temple in Ipoh, Tanneermalai Temple in Penang, and Sannasimalai Temple in Malacca.
  Note: Stay alert for monkeys and avoid feeding them! Keep cameras secure with a neck strap if possible. Refrain from carrying plastic bags, as monkeys may become aggressive.

• East Coast Batik Sdn Bhd (Batik CHONG) - Malaysian Batik is a celebrated textile art, especially on the east coast. The most popular motifs are leaves and flowers. Enjoy a guided tour at Batik Chong to see how Batik is made, and take the opportunity to bring home a piece of hand-made Malaysian Batik as a souvenir.

• Gombak District - Gombak District is an administrative area in the state of Selangor. Before 1974, Gombak was a town before becoming a district. It was home to the first Minangkabau immigrants in the 1800s. Old mosques, such as Masjid Lama Batu 6 Gombak, still stand today.

• Jadi Batek Gallery - Jadi Batek Gallery is a prominent batik and handicraft center in Kuala Lumpur, established in 1976 as a popular tourist shopping destination. Batik items for sale include dress-making materials, ready-to-wear apparel such as dresses, blouses, scarves, pareos, kaftans, men’s shirts, children’s clothing, tablecloths, coasters, wall hangings, and other batik artworks.
