Fantastic day out in the rainforest - Fantastic day out! Picked up from our accommodation in Port Douglas. Very enjoyable river drift experience. Afternoon visiting the Mossman Gorge. This included a trip to the Indigenous Heritage Centre there before exploring the rainforest itself. Even found time for a swim in the gorge. Much needed given the humidity and heat. Our tour guide, Josephine, was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects but especially enthusiastic about all things nature. We wanted copies of some extra photographs to add to our memories - the office could not have been more helpful in obtaining them. We wanted a different type of day and this most definitely did that! Thanks everyone who made that possible

Fab and fun - We did the river drift- picked up from our accomodation in Port Douglas and transport to the start of the tour. Was fabulous, from start to finish, informative and fun. Only complaint - finished too soon! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for something to do for half a day. We will be back!

On the river in the rainforest - We had a really good half-day on the Mossman river with Back Country Bliss, using small inflatable rafts to float down the river. It’s real fun. Our guides were Jai and Sam and they were excellent. Although I can imagine it being a bit tame for more adventurous types, it was perfect for us. and would be ideal for a family with children over the age of 10 who were good swimmers. The river depth was perfect for us, but I heard that sometimes after some rain, the activity is cancelled if the river is too fast flowing. As well as the river experience, it was amazing to be in the rainforest and to have an explanation about all the trees and the plants, including the toxic gympie gympie. We also saw lots of butterflies including many Ulysses.

Must do! Mossman Gorge - Josh was THE BEST! My boy/girl twins (14) and son (11) had the best learning experience at the Mossman Gorge. We saw animals, floated down the river, met aboriginal people. It has been one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. It’s a must do.

Vincent made our day! - The hike was amazing and the float equaled it for other good reasons. A great day. Vincent was our tour guide and he somehow made the experience even better. If he's indicative of the tour guides, you can't go wrong. He was knowledgeable and great with our young kids (who are a lot). Lunch stop was a great meal. We've done a lot of tours in various places and this was top notch. He took great pictures for us. Again. kudos to Vincent. Not enough room to talk through his commitment. Our son said at dinner, he missed him already!

Daintree Magic - Our brilliant guides, Josh and Leo brought new meaning to a memorable day. They were both consummate professionals right from the start. Full of knowledge on all things flora, fauna and beyond throughout our adventure floating down a section of the Mossman River and walking through the Daintree Rainforest while photo capturing key activities. Highly recommended!!

The BEST in Port Douglas and Australia - The BEST of many great things I did in the Port Douglas area...and in a month of wonderful adventures in Australia. I didn't expect to have so much fun and to smile the whole time. The guides gave us great information about plants and animals (a kookaburra! an orange-footed scrub fowl nest [huge!]! a killer plant!), and of course the fun, relaxing, and peaceful trip on the river. It was the right mix of everything, including letting us play at the end in the water - when of course we wanted the fun to last. Wonderful for all the kids on the trip, including this much older kid at heart!

Don’t go past this amazing experience! - Pop this on your ‘must do list’!! What an amazing hidden gem, this is nature at its best. Become a tree hugger (with the staff to start the tour) and thank nature for this beauty! You will feel a million miles away discovering various plants, trees and animals. Along the way, you get a couple of taste tests of natures tasty wonders. Josh and Miki were lovely knowledgeable staff to guide you along the way. Thanks for the experience! The photos don’t do this beautiful place justice.
