Most excellent day on GBR with Quicksilver - I had the best day. The snorkelling was amazing, and Glen, marine biologist, was excellent. All staff were friendly. Would highly recommend.

A great way to see some pristine reef - This one is a whole day adventure, so make room for it in your itinerary. The boat trip to and from the reef takes a while as the tour heads to the outer reef where the water is sparkling clear. The day we went was very choppy and rough and still we saw so much. If you're confident in snorkelling you'll have a blast, or you can even try scuba to experience more of the reef. If you're going to do one expensive thing on your holiday do this.

The Dream Team!! - We had an introductory dive with Quicksilver (Poseidon) and we would like to thank you for an amazing experience. What a team you are..! We had a briefing respecting all the different languages before starting to practice some skills and then diving safely. Special thanks to Micah and Adriana, you made all the difference!! I strong recommend this team!!

Is it time to move the pontoon? - We live in Palm Cove and have paid for two lots of visitors to go out to the reef and both have made the same comments. The service and professionalism of all staff is outstanding however the reef was very disappointing. It has always been our belief that Quicksilver is the premier reef operator and are always prepared to pay a premium for that. It would appear that the comment “overrated and overpriced” may have some truth. It is very disappointing for us but we are relieved that they did not pay for it. We intend to go out on the Silversonic to see if that is a better option for our friends. Perhaps it is time to move the pontoon to a new spot. Every visitor to Australia should have a great reef experience.

Disappointed with available opportunities at the reef. - Travel to and from the reef was very comfortable. Activities available at the reef complex were not adequately explained ahead of time and therefore not available to us. Many of the different activities were not available doe to pre sales to Chinese visitors. Equipment provided was good. Lunch was good.
