A Fun Day Out On The Water - My family liked but didn’t love this catamaran cruise. I would say it met but did not exceed expectations. The boat itself was nice and the staff very accomodating. I would characterize the trip as a pseudo booze cruise with some site seeing and swimming thrown in. At five hours in length and stopping only twice for swimming (and a third time for eating) there was a good amount of down time to imbibe the libations (which were offered at reasonable prices) and socializing with others. Sailing along the coast of Mallorca was very nice as were the stops for swimming, though the sea wasn’t as idyllic (i.e., crystal clear) as I had hoped for swimming and snorkeling in particular. The BBQ lunch was enjoyable, sort of what you’d expect on a boat the 100+ people. I found there to be two factions of people on the cruise. The young teens and 20 something’s in the front of the boat partying, jumping into the water, and really enjoying themselves. And there were the families and older (30+) folks in the rear shaded areas of the boat and swimming of the back of the boat. Overall, would say this was a good value for the money. I do recommend for anyone looking to have a fun day out on the Mediterranean!
