- Igreja de Sao Nicolau - This charming, neo-Gothic church, constructed in the 19th century, is bordered by an impressive array of cryptomeria trees lining both sides of the path leading to its entrance.
- Sete Cidades - This tour takes you along the picturesque dirt trail ascending to the peak of Pico da Cruz at 856 meters, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of several lagoons, including the famous Lagoa das Sete Cidades, the Green and Blue Lagoons, Rasa Lagoon, and Santiago Lagoon. Amazing guide, definitely worth it! - The guide was very qualified, friendly, knowledgeable and caring for our group. I liked being in a small group of six people, which allowed us to ask all our questions. The guide drove very safely in the difficult roads. Unfortunately we had heavy rain during the first part of the tour, but what we saw after, accompanied by great explanations, made the tour still worth it. Booking this tour is an easy, quick, efficient and relatively cheap way to see Sete Cidades, especially considering my mobility issue.

Great half day tour-spectacular views! - Fun half day tour exploring the Sete Cidades Volcano. Our group was full, 9 including the guide, yet comfortable in the jeep. The weather was great so the viewing was spectacular. Well paced tour and just the right amount of time to see the area. Recommended!!

Interesting and enjoyable excursion - We had a private tour for 3 of us in a Land Rover Discovery. Our guide was Hugo who was very interesting, fun and informative. We were lucky and managed to avoid the mist so that we could see down to the lakes. At Sete Cidades village we had about a 1/2 hour stop. Time to enjoy a tasty cake and coffee and have a walk to the lake front. It was great to find out more about the island and Hugo gave us some helpful tips for our trip to Furnas.

Half day volcano of Sete Cidades - Tiago picked us up at the port on time. You could tell that he grew up on this island. He showed us his beautiful home with great joy and explained a lot. He drove well and we understood his English very well. We were able to enjoy the included lunch in a lovely restaurant! We would do it again any time. We can only recommend this tour with Tiago.

Motivated, good guide - top! - Great tour, the guide put a lot of effort into it. It was a unique experience in the off-road vehicle, much better than the big bus tours you usually get.

Wonderful views - Fantastic trip - guide was great, the right amount of chatting and informative, without feeling like I'd been to a lecture. The views are definitely worth the trip, though we were on a cloudy day so telling the two lakes apart was impossible.

Amazing landscapes, friendly staff, hydrangea in abundance - Had a good time exploring the Sete Cidades with our knowledgeable guide. We got to walk along a beautiful lakefront as well as a country road lined with hydrangea bushes for as far as the eye could see. There was a small hike so wear runners. The weather was in the mid-twenties in August and humid.

Beautiful views ! - The jeep tour goes through the back roads so you get to see views that you wouldn’t normally see from the roads. It was my second try to see Cete Cidades lakes and our driver knew that the views would be better from a certain side and it was! The fog had lifted!

Awesome - Rui was amazing, half day tour was well worth it. He took us to “secretive” spot to get 10x better views of the aqueduct instead of the location on google maps which has a lot of tourists.
He also took us to a great spot for a good shot of Sete Cidades even though the weather was foggy.
