Day 1 - West Side which includes Ferraria, Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo

Ferraria - here is a thermal hot spring in the Ocean where you can go for a swim and explore the volcanic coastline

Vista do Rei Miradouro - Sete Cidades is best known for its Green an Blue Lakes, that are located inside a huge volcanic crater.

Sete Cidades - Going down to the village we will stop to enjoy the area and have lunch.

Lagoa do Fogo - The Lagoa do Fogo is a Nature Reserve that occupies a central position on the island, and is one of the highest points.
We will visit the viewpoints of Bela Vista, Pico da Barrosa and others along our route.

Caldeira Velha Environmental Interpretation Centre - Take a dip in jungle-like surroundings at the Thermal hot springs of Caldeira Velha

Day 2 - East Side which includes the Tea Plantation, Furnas and Vila Franca do Campo

Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana - witness the tea growing and processing techniques and taste various teas.

Pico do Ferro Viewpoint - Be amazed by the scenic views of Lake of Furnas.

Caldeira das Furnas - Visit the fumaroles/caldeiras and taste different water fountains

Furnas - traditional lunch of Cozido in one of the local restaurants. A gastronomical delight, Cozido is a dish made up of a mixture of different vegetables and a selection of different types of meat, that are put in a pot and slowly cooked underground by the geysers found at the lake of Furnas.

Parque Terra Nostra - This Romantic-style botanical garden was built in the 18th and 19th centuries and is one of the most popular sites on the Island of São Miguel, visited by both locals and foreign visitors who are attracted by the chance to bathe in the geothermal swimming pool, and marvel at the magnificent views and the variety and riches of the exotic vegetation.

Nossa Senhora da Paz - The Nossa Senhora da Paz Sanctuary, towering above the beautiful Vila Franca do Campo village, once the capital of the wonderful São Miguel Island, is a lovely temple of the Azores Archipelago.
