When we arrive in Pompeii, we will stop for a couple of hours. The Roman town of Pompeii, on the volcano’s southern slopes, was caught unawares by a massive eruption in AD 79, which smothered the town, its people and their goods and chattels. preserved for centuries, the site has been, and continues to be, excavated, so as you walk up and down the street you can peer into shop and private homes, read advertisements and graffiti and generally get a unique picture of daily life in Roman times.

Vesuvius National Park - Our Private Driver will stop in the front of office ticket, from there you walk up to along the slopes of Vesuvius to arrive on the crater rim.

DETAILS:
It’s best to start early to make the most of the day. At a pre-arranged time, your driver will collect you from your accommodation on the Sorrento coast. Once settled into the comfortable Mercedes people carrier, the journey will begin towards Mount Vesuvius. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning scenery as you head onto the motorway. From Vesuvius, the driver will take you to Pompeii, where you will visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
WINE TASTING INFORMATION: Enjoy tasting the renowned “Lacryma Christi” wine, or “tears of Christ,” while sampling local cheeses, delicious tomato bruschetta, and exquisite hams & salamis. Additionally, savor amazing spaghetti with tomatoes grown on these very slopes. PRICE: 45 EUROS PER PERSON.

Amazing experience! - Simply amazing day! Highly recommend Rosato - we had a 7 hour day with Vittorio and it was one of the best tours I have experienced. Arrived early, patiently waited, shared tons of information about the area, was entertaining and really looked after us. I have booked many tours throughout Europe and beyond… this was at the top.

Simply Wonderful !! - Simply wonderful !! We had booked transportation to and from Naples , to the airport and the train station for the next leg of our trip and did 2 tours during our week in Sorrento . Massimo took us to the amalfi coast which was so much fun and so beautiful and when we got back in Sorrento found the location of church that we had been wanting to see but couldn't find , also suggested a restaurant that was one of it not the best dinner we had during our stay ! Lello picked us up at the airport and also took us on the Pompeii tour and we had a wonderful time and outstanding lunch at the winery ! They knew so much of the history of the region and took us to so many beautiful places . We fell in love with Sorrento and hope to get back sometime soon . Thank you for a wonderful time !

Top Notch Tour Group - Rosato Private Tours is a highly dependable, professional tour group. Vittoria was very engaged and communicated timely when considering the options and planning the stops as part of our tour. Vittoria was in communication all the way through to the end of our tour. Massimo, our driver, was early and ready for pickup at our hotel. Massimo was a true joy. He was reliable as a driver and instrumental & flexible as our guide in making plan adjustments as the day progressed. But more impressively, Massimo made lasting connections with everyone in our tour group. He was expressive, funny and authentic in sharing his personal stories about his life in Italy. What a great day! I highly recommend Rosato Private Tours with any Italy tour adventure.

Pompeii and Vesuvius and Amalfi Coast Tours - Highly recommended, excellent service - We were travelling with our two teenagers and grand parents. We booked a Pompeii and Vesuvius tour with wine tasting and an Amalfi Tour. Ciro, our guide in Pompeii made our trip to the site a highlight of our trip. He was knowledgeable, engaging and funny. His knowledge of Pompeii was well-worth the extra cost. Ciro, our driver for both days was excellent. He was knowledgeable, accommodating and an excellent driver. He went above and beyond to help our daughter look for a lost item.
We will happily recommend this company to friends and family.

Delicious. Delightful. - The transportation was seamless. Massimo was a top-notch driver. He was very knowledgeable and hilarious. We loved him so much.
Pina was an incredible tour guide of Pompeii. She was exceptional at describing the history and tragedy.
The winery was delicious. We can't recommend this company enough. Top notch! Thank you everybody.

Amazing tour and delicious winery - The tour was wonderful. We were picked up promptly at our hotel at the designated time. Massimo, our driver, was friendly and he explained everything to us. Once we got to Pompeii, we were met by our tour guide. She was wonderful, very knowledgeable. She really covered a lot of ground in just 2 hours. She answered all our questions and knew a lot about Pompeii. After the tour was over, Massimo met us and took us to a Winery for a tour and lunch. We toured the winery inside and out and then were taken to a beautiful rooftop dining area where we had the most delicious lunch and wine. The views were amazing with Mt. Vesuvius in the background. After lunch we were able to order some wine, olive oil and red wine vinegar (the red wine vinegar was incredible, nothing like I have ever tasted!). Massimo then took us back to our hotel. It was our last day in Italy and it was a great day spent!

Perfection - Amazing from start to finish. Vittorio corresponds very well through the booking. The vehicle is of high standard and the drivers are excellent. We had Nunzio, he gave us lots of very useful information and was very nice guy. He actually advised us to visit Herculaneum. We didn’t, but worth a look before you book as we’d not heard of it. The day was effortless and I can’t imagine a better way to do experience it.

Highly recommended tour company - We had a great driver, Giusepe. He explained everything very well, adapted the tour according to our desires and explained everything very well. We did 1 day the Pompei tour and 1 day the Amalfi coast. Both great! We highly recommend Rosato private tours.

Day trip to Pompeii and Wine Tour - Trip was an amazing day. Our driver, Massimo, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We went to Pompeii, Napoli, and Russo Winery for a tour, tasting, and meal just under Mount Vesuvius. Fantastic views and trip. Highly recommend Rosato Tours in Sorrento.

Amazing!!!!! We had high expectations & they were all exceeded! - We can not say enough good things about our experiences with Rosato PT. Aronne is the most helpful, professional driver who added so much to our experience with his knowledge & tips. The food tour, winery & Pompeii guided tour were all excellent. I would recommend these services to anyone.
