Private Day tour Amalfi coast, Pompei / family vacation - Everything was great! Our first time in Europe and Rolando made this day tour to Pompeii and Amalfi coast amazing. Rolando picked us up at our apt rental on time. He was friendly and professional. He takes super pride of his Mercedes van for which it is super clean and comfortable. He also provides Wifi. The ride to Pompeii was a little over 2 hours, he made it fun, offered us water and included a few stops (Amalfi coast) to take our family pictures. I need to mention he is a great driver, felt safe. Once we reached Pompei, he provided me with a pick up location. My family and I took way too long in Pompeii. He reached out to me via text (WhatsApp) if we were okay. I informed him we were running behind and will be out ~20 mins. He said ok. Pompei has been a lifelong dream of my son and I so we were like kids in a candy store. Please plan accordingly as normal tours allow for 1-2 hours and we were in there for over 3 hours and still missed a few things. We also still needed to visit Sorento and Positano and return back to Rome. Rolado was in his minivan waiting for us near the exit. He was kind and was concerned that something had happened to us (since he does not go inside the archeological site). I mentioned that this was just one of the most memorable experiences of our lives and did not have a clue how big the site was. I also mentioned if it was okay not to visit Sorento and just go to Positano (since we took so long in Pompei) he asked if I was sure and said we still drive by it. I really wanted to visit Positano. Once at Positano, we were dropped of, given a pin location for pick up and walked our way down (a lot of walking). We enjoyed about 2 hours in Positano. Take into consideration there is a lot of stair climbing and walking uphill to reach pick up point due to heavy traffic and street closures. It took over 3 hours to get back to Rome, On the ride back home, My family and I fell asleep for about 1 hour. Once awake, we had great conversations, we laughed and talked about family and life overall. Rolando is not just a driver, he cares and values his job, his family and clients. We felt like family. Once he dropped us of at our apartment doorsteps we had a hard time saying goodbye. I wished I would have known and would have booked Rolando for the entirety of my trip to Rome. When I return back to Rome, I will definitely use him again. I highly recommend Rolando's Airport transfer Day tours. You will not regret it.

Great experience! - Booked a private tour to Positano/Sorrento and have no regrets. If it’s your first time to the area and traveling from Rome, this is a good option to consider. Takes away the hassle of transferring since they pick you up from your hotel too. Definitely a great experience for us.

Roman Holiday and Almafi Adventures - This is my second visit to Rome this year and I was so happy to have met Rolando during our earlier visit; not only did he provide a transfer from the airport, he escorted us to the Almafi Coast the next day. He is professional, attentive, generous, and friendly. Rolando goes above and beyond for his clients, making special stops, explaining points of interest, and ensuring we are t he best experience possible. Rolando is easy to work with, simply give him your travel information (remember, he is not psychic, therefore, will not know if you do not tell him) and make sure you are available to contact should a delay due to things like traffic arise. It it also important to share travel delays/changes to avoid confusion and delays. We have now had two airport transfers and two trip to the Coast with Rolando, and I have shared his information and encouraged others traveling to Rome to contact him.

Exceptional Service, Awesome Driver, & Great Value! - We came as tourists and left as FRIENDS! I truly can't save enough - Rolando was friendly, witty/funny, fair, honest, and was always looking out for us. He provided great insight and gave great advice when it came to our questions about his beautiful city and surrounding areas. Always on time, constantly in communication with WhatsApp, super clean van, and wonderfully comfortable too. We were a party of 4, but his van can accommodate 7. His English is wonderful, certainly a whole lot better than my Italian. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone wishing for confident driver, whether from the airport, local tour, or anywhere else. Great value for his professionalism and expertise as a terrific & safe driver. When we return to Rome there's no one else I will use, he's now 'family' to us. tour pompei and Amalfi coast - our driver Rolando took us to Pompei,Sorrento and Positano,we had lunch at a very nice little restaurant than we drove back to Rome .excellent tour...

Rude driver find another tour. - Rolando is a nice man however he is an extremely crazy driver. No drinks or food in his van for a 12 hour trip. If he hears any plastic in the backseat he will quickly give you a dirty look. Pompeii tickets are not included in this trip. We completed many tours during our stay in Rome and a passionate and energetic driver makes it an awesome experience. Rolando is not that. He will only get you from point A to B. We were passing the volcano and he didn’t even tell us. I do not recommend, private tour sounds nice but you’re better off going with another company/ group. Amazing destinations and we enjoyed ourselves however it would’ve been more enjoyable with a nicer and more enthusiastic driver.
