Discover the ancient city and its ruins, and embark on a journey through time. Departing with a small, intimate group from the city’s main entrance, Porta Marina Superiore, participants will enjoy a view of Mt. Vesuvius. The tour will proceed through the Basilica, the Forum with its market, and the main Temples of Apollo and Jupiter.
Explore some of the most stunning houses, featuring beautiful gardens, painted walls, and intricate mosaics. The tour will continue through various shops and lead to the renowned Plaster Casts (BODIES), the Gladiators’ training ground, and the Great Theatre!
After the guided tour, a van will transport guests to a timeless location: a vineyard at the base of Vesuvius! Here, participants will learn about the viticulture techniques passed down through three generations of wine experts. Enjoy a signature chef menu featuring traditional local cuisine, paired with a premium selection of “Lacryma Christi” wine.
Following the tasting, the van will return guests to Pompeii.

Yay for Pompeii! - I am so glad we booked this! We booked the night before.
I was looking into this a couple weeks prior but I saw all the 'so so' reviews on the food at the vineyard and the staff there.
It was going to rain so we made the last minute decision to do this activity since it wouldn't be too nice; I love wine and my husband loves history... fair trade off.
This was probably our favorite day in Italy!
Ricardo was FANTASTIC on our tour! The amount of knowledge he held; i just kept looking at my husband wide eyed to all the historical information we learned. Ricardo took his time explaining everything and went at a wonderful pace. I really could have spent hours with this man just absorbing the all knowledge he had; the way he explained it all was just perfect.
It DOWNPOURED during our tour; my husband and I were fine, we were having a blast learning about Pompei, and Ricardo kept offering his umbrella to me. He was very sweet and made sure everyone was with the group and safe during the rain. My husband and I also had a train issue before the tour and were 10 minutes late; Ricardo responded right away to my messages and explained where to go and what to do if we did not make it on time.
I have no idea why the wine and food tasting has such subpar reviews on here; it was DELICIOUS! Maybe they changed the winery they went to because of the past reviews but I cannot say enough great things about this place. First off; the wine was delicious (I bought some to take home and my family owns a winery so I may know a thing or two about wine). The food was more than I thought we were getting and it was FRESH and the flavors popped! App, meatballs, eggplant , pasta and gelato with wine in it for dessert! The tour was short but cute. They let you eat the grapes too and hang out as long as you would like. I also thought our server was very sweet and answered any questions if you had them. I don't know if people in the past wanted more information about the wine but I felt she explained them all thoroughly and appreciated that she didn't go on and let us enjoy our wine and food.
The views were breathtaking! And you have the adorable Gia, the vineyard dog, who greets everyone when they arrive (she stays outside).
I am so glad we chose this, they knocked it out of the park and for the price... you can't beat it!

Pompeii - The meeting place was easy to find infront of the archeological site (short walk from train). Rafaelle was an exceptional guide for our visit to Pompeii. He shared a wealth of knowledge with our group that really elevated the experience. The city ruins are a site to behold, a truly amazing place.

Our guide was amazing ---... - Our guide was amazing --- very passionate and very knowledgeable. We were able to understand life in Pompeii and the impact of the volcano, which went far beyond the mere destruction of the city. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a first class tour of this ancient city.

Amazing guide! - Our tour guide, Ricardo, was amazing! His advanced degree in archeology made the 2 hour tour so interesting. His extensive knowledge of not only the culture, but also languages, brought the city to life. HIGHLY recommend! The wine tasting/lunch was just so/so but it was a nice detour before we took the train back to Napoli.

Pompeii plus! - Ornella was a fabulous tour guide and her knowledge in all things “Pompeii” was amazing. The tour was well timed and the wine tour and lunch was a nice way to finish the tour. Food and wines were excellent. Highly recommend this tour.

Great way to do Pompei - Really great highly recommend. I think two hours is probably all you want of Pompei and it’s a great way to change it up. The tour was very interesting and then the wine very yummy

Pompeii and wine tastings - Had CD a great day. Our guide Riccardo was fantastic. Very informative snd not one yawn from anyone!! The lunch at the base of my Versuvius. Was so yummy too. Great time had by us all. Thorny recommend

Mixed Feelings - The Pompeii visit was great, our guide was Enrica, and she was very knowledgeable and eager to share the history with us. She went above and beyond the night before and communicated with me on how to buy entry tickets online so I didn't need to stand in line the next day. The feeling on standing on that historic site and seeing that lost city was amazing. The Casasetaro Winery was somewhat of a disappointment. The night before we were sent a menu for our pairings and wine tasting. They never provided the bread and oil as on the menu, and one tasting had no pairing at all. The winery guide outside told us we would get to pair with some vegetables they grow alongside the grapes and we did not. The staff had a hard time getting wine to the table and even forgot to provide wine to one in our party so we had to go ask.

The tour guide was... - The tour guide was excellent but the lunch and wine tasting experience was not as good. The food and wine was very good but it was very impersonal. The wait staff was not friendly. It was not a fun experience compared to other wine tastings we had. I would not recommend for the money spent.
