The best Pompeii tour guide! - Had the most amazing tour with our wonderful guide Frankie! He was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. His energy was great and kept us all engaged throughout. Would definitely recommend!

Great experience - We had a great experience visiting Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. Our tour guide at Pompeii, Francesca, was an archeologist and very knowledgable. She was able to direct us to the most important locations and was able to answer every question. The drivers were very responsible and safe and the van was comfortable. My only caveat is that if you do not register for the lunch tour, be sure to bring lunch and everyone should bring water.

Great tour! So easy and informative - What a great tour! I’m so happy we booked it. The transfer to and from Positano was so easy and comfortable. Our guide Sasa at Pompeii was fantastic and our ride to Mt Vesuvius was well orchestrated. The walk up to the top is steep but was worth it. I was so impressed with how the tour was organized. Everything went like clockwork. Visiting in March was lovely.

Excellent day overall - Hopefully you are lucky enough to have Frankie as your guide in Pompeii. It is helpful that they offer round trip transportation directly to and from your hotel and between Mt. Vesuvius and Pompeii Ruins. They handle all ticketing making it seamless for you. The only drawback is that we did not expect our shuttle to have a detour through another town on the way back so expect that the drive back might include an extra stop which added about an hour to the drive. (For reference, we were staying in Positano but the return shuttle had a stop in Sorrento).

Pompeii and Vesuvius GREAT TOUR - Sassa our tour guide at Pompeii was wonderful. He went out of his way to get to know our group and share his wealth of knowledge with us. Our drivers were prompt and extremely well organized. Car was huge with great AC which is important after a hot day walking among the ruins. We want to thank our driver for waiting for us in the morning pick up after we got the pick up time wrong. They called us and waited. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Wonderful trip with amazing guide at Pompeii! - The trip was amazing and was a great way to see Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii in one day from Positano. Our guide at Pompeii, Frankie, was incredible. His knowledge of Pompeii was deep and he was hilarious, cracking jokes the whole time. The transportation and van transfers to pick us up in Positano and then get us to all the sites and back worked very well and was all done is well air-conditioned vans. Highly recommend the trip!

Warning: this is marketed really well but may be awful! - Our trip took a strange turn as we started off in a van with backward seats. The driver was efficient but a bit aggressive. This wasn’t an issue until we started climbing the mountain to maneuver through several turns and stops. There was six of us in the van and just about all of us got pretty bad car motion sickness. Afterwards we were dropped off at Positano and the Driver recommended us a restaurant. We quickly found out this restaurant was double the price of everything around it. We were confused because we thought this was part of the tour where Limoncello tasting was going to be conducted. We also received an hour and twenty minutes to be here as opposed to the two hours that was marketed. My wife and I could not stomach anything after being hit really bad with motion sickness and a headache. After wandering around aimlessly and returning to the van, we made our way to Pompeii. From there things took a strange turn as we finally met our tour guide. They seemed friendly and knowledgeable however, we quickly found out they lacked structure and organization. They did not have a good voice to project or fluent enough in English to explain. They struggled to keep the group together as that did not seem to be their priority. They go on tangents and would hold the group back from seeing Pompei to the fullest. Normally, I feel with a tour guide we get quite the treat with deep information however, this specific booking we felt we were held back from being able to see most of the Pompeii site. At the end of it all we met back up with our driver and asked about the limoncello testing which we found out that apparently was never going to happen because of something to do with timing on their end. This is the first time it was let known to us as our driver stated that the trip was over. We contacted TripAdvisor about this issue and they gave an empty apology and did not seem to want to assist with the inconvenience. Instead they just ask us to leave a review so here is the review. We most likely aren’t going to receive any type of refund for this sadly.
