Surpassed my expectations! - The tour of Pompeii was amazing, but the guide rushed us along and there were a number of elderly people, myself included, who had a hard time keeping up.. She was very knowledgeable and provided great information about the city and life there. Seeing the cast of the slave woman was very moving. And the mosaic floor and painted walls still visible, was incredible.

Pompeii + Mt.Vesuvius tour 2024 - Roberta, Davide and Gennero were our awesome tour guides/driver of the day. They did spectacular, Roberta explained everything clear in English and made a couple of jokes along the way! What matters most that it was an amazing experience given to us and also we were taken care of at every step of the tour. Hats of to this wonderful tour and hope you get to enjoy such a nice experience if you plan to visit Naples + Pompei + Mt.Vesuvius!! MC

Amazing Day! - Pompeii ruins exceeded my expectations, very impressive and interesting. You could easily spend all day there, but the couple hours assigned to the ruins was the perfect amount. It was very busy, but our guide Maria Rosa was great at showing us all the best bits. Walk up Vesuvius was quite steep, but we were given plenty of time to walk up/down & explore at the top. It was very windy so I'm glad I had my jacket. Views were great & we even got a 2€ wine which was fun.

Fascinating trip with incredible guides - This trip was amongst the highlights of our trip to Naples. Giovanni was an incredible driver, navigating the streets of Naples and also the sharp turns of Vesuvius with ease. Our guide Connie made the whole trip special, was incredibly funny and knowledgeable on the tour and made sure everyone was safe and happy at each stop. The food was less light lunch and more a banquet, and was incredibly fresh and tasty. It's great value for money and I couldn't recommend this trip, and Connie and Giovanni enough.

Fantastic day out - Ally was very friendly and knowledgable about Naples, Pompeii and Vesuvius. Francesco had some fantastic driving skills in and around Naples. The food at the vineyard was delicious, as was the wine. All in it was a fantastic day out.

Long day, but well worth it - Absolutely amazing way to see these beautiful parts of history. For Pompeii, you may not see as much as you would like, however the whole area is over 100 acres and would take several day trips to truly see everything they had to offer. Our Pompeii tour guide was passionate about the history, and kept the tour moving at a quick pace so we could see everything possible in a short time. After, it was onto lunch, which is a "light Neapolitan meal" which was absolutely delicious, but so much food! Then, it was on to Mt. Vesuvius. The hike up is definitely moderate, while the trails are clear and wide enough to pass others, the ground is rocky and trails are a little steep in places. There are plenty of rest stops, and shops that sell souvenirs, food, water, soft drinks, and beer/wine. Once at the top, the hike is definitely worth it, and you can enjoy a glass of their local wine, made from the grapes grown on Vesuvius. It is a very long day, but allows you to touch a glimpse of a beautiful disaster in history.

Memorable, glad to have had the opportunity to experience so much history. - While the local tour operator on the day was fantastic, Alessandra, the guide, was interactive, interested, funny and friendly The driver, Bruno, was chic and professional. The guide Baggio at Pompeii was very informative but, at times, spoke quickly with an accent that was tricky to follow. It was imperative to pre-warn travellers of the “Sunday free access”, which led to many queues (so much for guaranteed no queues)! The Mt Vesuvius trip may need a better description. It is not stroller-friendly, and some people may have had difficulty with the steep incline. All in all a memorable bucket list experience; sadly marred though by tripadvisor’s reluctance take some requests to heart.
