Great day out , interesting and fun - We were picked up promptly and got onto a nice mini bus, not far to pompeii and pepe was a great host,
Pietro drove expertly and didn't put a foot wrong.
Pompeii was really good and Walter was a great guide full of information.
Wine and lunch was fantastic.
All in all enjoyed by all

Very nice guides - Such a nice trip to Pompej with Francesco and there with our guide Andrea! Pickup points have good locations, the minibus was on time and the informations during the drive to and from Pompej were intetesting and funny.

It was a good experience!... - It was a good experience! Pepe, Petro, and Walter were lovely and very helpful. Pompeii is expansive and it is useful to have the guide. The lunch and wine tasting they organized was also lovely and delicious. It is a 3 course meal with a tasting of 4 wines. What a lovely day!

Our day at Pompeii and... - Our day at Pompeii and Sorrentino Winery was absolutely unforgettable! The guided tour through Pompeii was fascinating, our guide was so knowledgeable, bringing history to life with stories and details that made it easy to imagine the ancient city as it once was.
After exploring, we headed to Sorrentino Winery on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius for a wine tasting and lunch, and it was perfection. The setting was stunning, surrounded by vineyards and views of the volcano. The wines were exceptional (I ordered 6 bottles to be shipped to me at home), and the meal was excellent, from the fresh pasta to the local cheeses and olive oil, it was one of the best we had in Italy.
Everything was well-organized and relaxing from start to finish. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting it was the perfect mix of history, culture, and incredible food and wine!

History & Wine is the ideal combo - Was a great tour for if you don't have a lot of time to experience the area 🙂 we were picked up and driven by Giovanni and given a tour on the way by Andrejka. Wele spent a few hours being shown the highlights of Pompeii by Walter before going to a lovely winery in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius! A lot of delicious wine and tasty food, after a morning of seeing the buried city.

Pompeii and Vinyard tour in a day! - This is a fabulous trip and a great way to see and do a lot in a day. Our guide Fabrizio and driver Daniel were very good throughout the day and our Pompeii guide Salvatore was very knowledgeable and took care of us.
The vineyard tour and tasting - and food - was excellent - the views were outstanding! Sommelier Benjamin very entertaining and knew his stuff! All in all a 5 star experience! Highly recommend!

We were instructed to... - We were instructed to arrive at our meeting point at 8.15 but the bus didn't arrive until nearly 9, without explanation, which was a shame. When we reached Pompeii the guide was fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, willing to respond to questions. It would have been nice to spend longer exploring Pompeii even though it was raining heavily. We didn't see the amphitheatre or house of the faun, for instance. The restaurant and wine-tasting experience was good - great view of the bay, even if covered by storm clouds - food very nice, excellent wine. They were a little pushy on purchasing the wine but I suppose that's how they make their money!

Ok...I guess. - We did not experience the Vesuvius/lunch portion of this tour. The tour operator told us there was a problem with the winery, but in actuality they didn't have enough people for this tour, so they added us to another group. I asked for a 50% refund as we only got half of the experience and was refunded less than 25%, which is pretty unacceptable.
Beyond that, the tour of Pompeii itself was fairly lackluster. There are some very famous frescos and sites that we did not see. Our guide Walter, was rather bland and kind of rude to many of the participants and, especially when explaining that we didn't have time to see the most popular things. The tour assistant, Fabrizio, was super personable and Charlie the driver was nice. Unfortunately- they were not the ones giving the actual tour.
Finally, we booked an English-speaking tour, but the tour we were provided was in English and Italian. No shade, but waiting for the guide to translate the explanation at each site, might be why we ran out of time to see the most popular things at Pompeii.
