Beautiful tour with fun and good-humored guide - We had a great guide, very funny and always diligent in photographing and staging the guests with their own phone. She took us to 3. Level of the falls accompanied, after that we still had free time to explore the higher levels. The bathing spots are very nice and super refreshing in hot Thai weather. In the museum and at the bridge our guide also knew a lot about the history. Overall clear recommendation on my part. From Bangkok, however, you drive quite a long time, so you should bring something to entertain yourself.

Top day out with a great guide and riding in comfort - Amazing trip, it was just us two and our guide was so helpful and knowledgeable. Had a nice and comfortable ride up in the air conditioned van. Our driver was really good and courteous. The boat ride up the river was fantastic and the waterfalls just beautiful.

Kwaï moment - Our guide was very kind, she explained the war to us and took the tour by rush on each stop , she is experienced for photos so that everyone has an excellent memory of her visit. She knows the best restaurant deals where you can eat fast and cheap.

We loved this tour.... - We were only 3 persons so this experience has been relaxing. Our Guide Lisa and the driver Frank were very nice. I and my wife really liked the tour, expecially the Erawan falls. We made It straight to the seventh level and then on our way back we stopped twice to swim in the pools under the falls... Great!!!

Nan our travel guide was... - Nan our travel guide was fantastic! She really made the trip enjoyable and shared so much information. I would consider either flipping the order of the spots or break it into two excursions. After doing to boat, museum (which was emotionally draining) and the train walk in the hot sun, we were too tired to really enjoy the falls. All in all, I recommend the trip just be prepared to be tired - it’s a full 12 hour day.

Jeath War museum disappointed, Bridge on River Kwai must see Erawan fun but tiring - This is a long day trip, departing from tour guide office in Chinatown around 7.15am and getting back into Chinatown at around 7.15pm, the first part of the journey is the long car journey to JEATH war museum in Kanchanburi where we are joined by the tour guide, the details of the construction, bombing and restructuring of the railway, there is a 7-8 minute video detailing the plight of the POW's forced to build the railway and details of the death toll and condition, had the POW camp been preserved in its entirety rather than just one POW hut it would have provided more depth, there are some interesting artefacts from the soldiers and POW's along with quite a few photos, from the riverfront is a 10-15 minute boat ride on a speedboat, you can cross the bridge on foot and take photos as an actual train pulls into the bridge, we didn't visit the 2nd part of the war museum which struck me as a missed opportunity, then off to Erewan falls National Park which is further 1 hour away, this a series of 7 waterfalls, the first is reached either by a tiring walk from car park/restaurant area but there are golf buggies which can do the leg work for you for 20 baht, you must wear a life jacket (another 20 baht) if you want to swim, these are very cumbersome, there are no toilets beyond second waterfall where the climb to each subsequent waterfall gets more tiring, this is not suitable for anyone with fitness issues or mobility issues. also trying to relax in a swimming pool with a massive life jacket is not ideal, the duration for this stop is 3 hours
