Although it is not a certified course, this Discover Scuba Diving is the easiest and fastest way to introduce you to the exciting underwater world.

You will learn the basic skills and abilities to dive, under the supervision of a PADI professional. After practicing these skills in confined waters, you will be ready to immerse yourself in 2 extraordinary open water dives. We will take you on a submarine tour in search of sharks, rays, octopus and the wide variety of marine species that populate our waters. In the right seasons of the year, you can even dive while listening to the song of the humpback whales that visit the Flamingo Bay!

Get ready to familiarize yourself with the diving equipment and see how easy it will be to get along with it underwater. Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. Learn some of the keys to autonomous diving. Have fun exploring while diving. And discover how to become a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Embark on a beginner’s scuba diving adventure in Costa Rica and take part in two straightforward dives at the Catalina Islands. This 5-hour training is designed for individuals attempting scuba diving for the first time and who are not currently certified. Although you will not earn a PADI certification, you will gain firsthand scuba diving experience in the temperate Guanacaste sea waters.

Life Changing First Dive - If you want a life-changing spiritual experience without psychedelic drugs, I highly recommend the Pacific Coast Dive center. I went on my first dive alone with no prior experience, and was met by the warm, safe and professional guide Gaby. Even though I was initially very nervous, I quickly understood that my safety and comfort were top priorities, along with having a joyous experience. I got to join a boat of other divers and snorkelers and immediately felt taken care of and part of a cohort. Every step of the way, Gaby was by my side to offer me reassurance and care. I got to swim with turtles, sharks, eels, clown fish, sea serpents and even glimpsed a very rare manta ray. The Catalina islands are magical. Seeing under the sea is such an incredibly rare and beautiful experience that made me want to fight harder for this planet and its creatures.

Very good first time scuba dive with family - We were well taken care of the entire time. Our guides were very helpful, spoke good English, and took very good pictures (do charge money for them like all excursions though. Overall really good first time scuba diving and with no certification 👍

First and best scuba diving experience - I had an amazing time with Jose from Mallorca!! My family and I had never done this before and I am glad we had Jose help us out. The guy is very knowledgeable and caring, just like the rest of the staff. I highly recommend doing this even if you are unsure, Jose made use feel like we could do it and we did!

An amazing and unforgettable adventure! - We had never been scuba diving before, and had a fantastic first experience with Pacific Coast Dive Center, as they offer a beginner course for non-certified divers. We saw Pacific Spotted Dolphins, White Tip Sharks, octopuses, eels, and other awesome marine life. Delicious fresh fruit and snacks were served on board and everyone was very friendly. Our instructors, Gabi and Vivi, were outstanding! They were attentive and made sure we felt comfortable and confident every step of the way (especially the kids, 11 and 15), and took beautiful photos and videos. After the dives, Gabi also showed us all the species we had seen on a folding guide. We were totally hooked and are already looking forward to diving again!

Scuba diving - Went scuba diving today for the first time ever and had so much fun! Gabi helped me the whole way making sure I was okay and we got to see some cool animals. Definitely worth it !!

Excellent dive experience with Pacific Coast - We had an amazing diving experience with Pacific coast folks. Everything was made extremely smooth for us - starting from the communication, all the way until we finished the dive and left. Everyone at Pacific Coast was extremely helpful, patient, knowledgeable and very accommodating to our requests. Our diving instructor, Luna, is an excellent instructor - patient, and will walk you through everything until you are comfortable, which to us was very important as inexperienced divers. The dive was great, we were able to get some amazing views and sights, and we would highly recommend diving with Pacific Coast when you are in the area. Cheers!

Incredible Discovery Dive - The trip was absolutely amazing! My girlfriend (who is a certified diver) and I (never dived before) decided to do the discovery dive together. We had Jose as our dive master and he was absolutely terrific at teaching me the ropes and technicalities of diving. It also was a great refresher for my girlfriend who hadn’t dived in 4 years. The entire crew is super fun and professional, they get you out onto the water in a timely manner and make sure that you are doing well the entire time on the boat and in the water. Jose was especially good at calming my nerves being it was my first time diving. We saw multiple sharks, octopus, fish and eels. Both of our dives we did in open water were over 45 minutes so it is terrific value for the price. You also have a session in a pool before you go to open waters to become comfortable with the gear and some of the skills. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get into diving as you get a real taste of the open water diving experience.

Awesome experience! - We had an amazing time diving with Eze - super great all round experience, boat trip, two islands and of course the dives! Eze and the whole team made us feel super confident with the dives and were really attentive (plus you get treats during the boat trip). Also I had such fun as a certified diver already who wanted to go with people who were not certified - we hope to be back ASAP!
