- Islas Santa Catalina - We offer daily tours of 2 dives, from Monday to Sunday. Our star destination for the diving tour are the Catalinas Islands and North Island, rock formations of volcanic origin, some 40 minutes away from the coast. The tour starts at 7.30 am in our dive center, located in Flamingo, where you will fill out the paperwork and the equipment will be tested. The tour will end around noon.
The water temperature in the north coast of the Costa Rican Pacific ranges between 16-30°C / 60-86°F according to the time of year. Visibility can vary almost daily.
The rocky bottom of our coasts is the perfect home for a wide variety of marine life, some species of which are seasonal in this area (giant manta rays or humpback whales). White tip sharks, different types of rays, moray eels, nudibranchs, angelfish, butterfly fish, as well as large schools of colorful tropical fish are often observed.
Each of our dives usually lasts a maximum of 40 minutes at 18 meters depth (60 feet).

Catalina island - It was a great experience, saw many different species! We got super lucky with Manta Rays. All staff were great, our instructor Ivan was fantastic.

A must do in Costa Rica!! Instructor Risky and the pacific coast dive team were the best!! - I had no scuba experience and we did a two tank dive down to 40’. Our instructor Risky was excellent. He made me feel like a pro, I felt completely safe and comfortable. And the sights down there were amazing. Thank you Risky for an exceptional day!!

Beautiful - This was my first ocean dive since getting my certification for open water and I was very happy with it. The crew was very knowledgeable and efficient. Laura was my guide with a group of 3 other divers, and she was calm and was very helpful in equalizing on the descents. We saw puffer fish, eels, sting rays, and more. A great trip!

Amazing Diving Certification – Highly Recommended! - I did my Open Water Diver Course with Pacific Coast Dive Center and it was an amazing experience! My instructor, Ivan, was fantastic—highly professional, patient, and at the same time, full of enthusiasm and fun. The first day in the pool with all the exercises was a great introduction, and the following days in the sea were simply unforgettable. During all four dives, I had the chance to see a lot of incredible marine life. The entire crew was extremely friendly, dedicated, and made the experience even better. I had a fantastic time and can highly recommend it to everyone!

Professional diving center - Fantastic scuba diving. Got to see sharks rays eels and many other fish. Well looked after and the instructors acted very professional. Would recommend using these guys

A beautiful experience - A beautiful experience, with my husband we have advance certification and we could see sharks, rays, hundreds of fish and even we had to hear the song of a whale. The very friendly crew, especially highlighted the professionalism of Joshua, Angie and Ivan. We dive three days in a row, some with greater visibility than others, but certainly a recommended activity.

Best SCUBA Experience - Let me start off by saying I have done easily 150+ dives. This was by far the best service I’ve ever received. I’m used to having to carry my BCD and tanks to and from the boat, here they already have everything ready for you. You’ll go to their dive shop where they will get you fitted for a wetsuit and fins. Then it’s a short 3 min drive to the marina. There you will board a dingy that takes you to their fairly large vessel. On board they have all of the equipment ready to go for you and they will also set up your BCD as well. In addition to having plenty of water available, after our first dive they served us cookies with iced tea! What?! I didn’t think service could get any better but then moments later they served us slices of pineapple and watermelon! The staff was all incredible, our scuba tour guide Ambrosio was fantastic. Overall this was a great diving experience, there’s a good variety of sea life as well, but depending on the weather visibility may not be great. Still, if you’re looking for a scuba experience, these are the guys to sign up with.

Best dive experience - Pacific coast diving is the only dive shop I dive with in Costa Rica. All the dive masters are amazing. Our dive master, Risky was incredible. I always feel safe when diving with them. We seen so many different species. It was amazing as always. This is my second time diving with them and it did not disappoint. You’re in good hands with them.
