Beautiful weather - Lots of restaurants and a vibrant night life. The weather was perfect. It is a busy tourist spot so be aware of police presence (I felt intimidated by their machine guns). We rented a car but roads have a lot of potholes so a bit hard, better to rent a Jeep /SUV. Overall, we had a wonderful and we stayed at Hyatt Centric hotel and Grand Hyatt hotel.

Amazing trip - This was an amazing trip. Transport was on time and friendly. Once at Rio Secreto, our guide Miquel was brilliant, knowledgeable, funny, caring and helpful. The accompanying photographer, Jair, was very helpful and friendly. Good photos. The caves and underground experience was truly beautiful and impressive.

A must do in Tulum! - From the blessing by the Mayan shaman to the cathedral of stalactites and stalagmites in the crystal clear blue water, everything blew us away! Our knowledgeable and friendly guide Martín expertly lead us into an underground journey of a lifetime.

Amazing experience - Excellent experience. They take you inside the caves and show you all the formations. The guides know a lot and give you a lot of information about the cave formations and history. Also the price for the experience is good considering that lunch is also inculcated.

Great 1/2 day - Caves were really cool and a great way to send a rainy day. Swim and walk was easy (would not take elderly as rocks are slippery but they do provide walking sticks and good water shoes.) our guide was very knowledgeable

Don't miss this experience when visiting eastern Mexico!! - This excursion exceeded our expectations! On a score of 1-10, I would give it a 12! The main reason was our guide, Jared. He did a fantastic job of teaching us about the caves and their formation, and he was extremely conscious of our safety at all times. He even gave me his waterproof flashlight when my head lamp stopped working! The trip was organized and efficient, and the caves were unbelievable. Just be aware that it is physically challenging, and previous experience with hiking and finding your footing is very helpful. Highly recommend!

It was a very unique... - It was a very unique experience. This is very hands on with amazing formations around every turn. The tour guide was very helpful along the way with the difficult and slippery spots. It’s a one of a kind tour with up close views of all of the cave formations.

Spectacular - cold - Martin was an amazing guide through the stunning underground maze of caves, stalagmites and stalactites. Incredible experience - but be prepared for spending 90 minutes in cold water.

Not what it used to be. And bring lots of cash. - Did this six years ago. It was amazing back then and just ok now. Back then it was a leisurely time going through a super cool cave system…now it’s a rushed exercise with no time to swim around or stop and ponder. And at the end they want for US $149 for a few snapshots. I’d say it’s a solid C+.
