Mind blowing stunning experience - My wife and I in our 50s, with kids in 20s had an amazing time, the music and choreography were excellent, the dancers were athletes, the atmosphere was electric and the shows were visibly stunning, cocobongo us a feast for your senses, 5 hours felt like 1 hour. Time went quickly. Our experience was well organised and managed. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good energetic vibe and a night put to remember. Well done cocobongo team.

Great club avoid shittle - We booked tickets through a rep at our hotel in Playa del Carmen which included a shuttle bus to and from our hotel. Our rep was a sweetheart and the bus out was very fun. The show at Coco Bongos was excellent - such a fun night out. However, when we returned for the shuttle bus it transpired that someone had allegedly been sick on the way out. They wouldn’t let us on the bus until they investigated who the culprit was, but they did this without checking our tickets and trying to enforce a fine on everyone who returned for the shuttle - which was short of the amount of people on the way out. It also transpired that they had not cleaned the vomit in the 4 and half hours since we left the bus, and I discovered this when I stepped in it. As such, I would recommend making your own way to Coco Bongos for a great night. If you’re at a PDC hotel it’s 550 pesos in a taxi which you can split between your group - just check with the driver on the way back so you don’t get ripped off. Avoid the shuttle bus reps who are negligent in the extreme.

Good but not excellent - I booked two front-row tickets to the Playa del Carmen venue directly with the venue. The choice was made because they offered transportation, unlike the Cancun location. This ticket type gives you preferential and expedited access. The location is very good, but the spaces are small and a bit uncomfortable, which forces you to stand for a while to compensate. The food is good and that's what they offer. The open bar is not premium and there are not enough cocktails on offer. The show is very good, continuous, and doesn't give you time to get distracted. The show is always put on by the same people and there is a lack of quality in this regard. The play of light makes a big difference; a dark background and high-quality equipment create a very striking atmosphere. I think the price of the ticket doesn't fully justify what they offer and present. It's a good show overall, and the facilities are good too, but for the price of admission, it should be excellent, but it isn't.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Money - Rude behavior from the staff and very unorganized way of stage entry fo - I was really looking forward to visiting Coco Bongo in Playa del Carmen, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype at all. The venue was extremely overcrowded, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the included food and drinks.
One of the biggest issues was the disrespectful and rude behavior from the staff. As soon as the shows started, they constantly pushed and moved the crowd around in a very aggressive and uncomfortable manner. It felt chaotic and unorganized rather than enjoyable.
While I understand the need for safety during stage performances, the way they handle crowd control is unacceptable. They should seriously reconsider the setup and barricade the performance area properly, then only sell tickets based on actual, safe capacity. Right now, it feels like they are prioritizing profit over the guest experience.
Overall, I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. For the price paid, this experience was simply not worth it. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and makes necessary changes.

Not Club. Best for seniors who want to blow vegas money. - Are you under 40 looking for a night club to dance in. Then avoid this place at all costs. It's not a club. If you want to drink but dont want to pay for a a bottle and table service. You will hate it here.
It is a cool show to see, but boring after 20 minutes. No room to move or dance. The buses leave you stranded in the venue, so you hang out on the street like a bum. If your over 50 and want to spend money like your in vegas, so maybe sitting with a bottle and watching the shows for an hour or 2 might be fin to some. But from a DJ's perspective this place is a scam.
