Relaxing water park experience! - This was such a relaxing water park experience! I’m used to water parks being crowded and loud, but they sell a limited number of tickets per day so that the guests don’t feel crowded, and I really appreciate that! There were no lines for any of the water slides so I got to do them all. My favorite was the giant lazy river that goes all around the park! There’s even a lazy river bar!

Perfect family day - We rented a cabana which was great. The private bathrooms were sooo nice. The kids jungle was really fun for kids 10 and under. Lazy river was longest I had ever been on. When we went kids slides were heated water but nothing else was heated but it was not that cold yet. Plan about 20-30 minutes for shuttle ride to the ticket office from parking or drop off.

Relaxing Day in a Beautiful Water Park - Loved this! You can get here on the Vidanta trolley system if you are staying at the Resort. You can book a package which includes one food, one dessert, 2 non alcohol drinks, slushie and some discounts. We did not do that as I didn’t want to be limited on where I could pick my food and did not have interest in dessert or slushies. We booked a normal ticket which included entry, towels, and concierge service. We then booked a cabana for 4 people which was a thatched roof hut with seating, loungers, small safe and staff. The bathrooms the cabana used were really nice and clean. I lived in Dubai and had the experience of the amazing water parks there. This is not that. There are actually very few rides, but there seems to be some more in the future planning. But it was very clean, calm and pretty. I loved getting in the lazy river, floating up to a bar for a margarita and keep floating. Met all my expectations. I was there for the scenery and relaxation so wasn’t bothered by the lack of thrill seeking rides. There is a selection of small hut restaurants. We tried the Taco Bar and it was excellent. I had the most unusual taco that came with the sour cream and guacamole in a cup and the taco rolled up to dip. Very good!

A Wonderful Way To Spend A Day - The entire family from grandchild to grandparent, found something to enjoy. Having a private cabana was exceptional and beyond expectation. The waterpark was clean, the service amazing and the activities made this day a memorable one. We would definitely recommend. One improvement would be clearer directions on how to access the waterpark if driving.

Good quality water park, terrible instructions from the operator. - Booking via Viator did save some money off the general admission price, but their instructions were awful. Firstly it let me book for a Friday, when the water park is only open Saturday to Wednesday. A lady called me late the night before to let me know, but it was only 12h notice. Secondly the instructions provided via the Viator are completely wrong. It tells you to head to the Cirque du Soleil. Don’t, that is incorrect. Google Maps is also not helpful in getting there. You need to get dropped off at the main hotel car park, (Vidanta Rivera Maya Resort). This is the parking lot of all 7 hotels on the complex. Once there, you are taken to the water park via a little shuttle train. I took a taxi from central Playa del Carmen, which was 500 on the way there, and 600 on the way back. The traffic was terrible due to roadworks. I’d recommend getting the package which includes the transfer if you’re solo. The water park itself was good, very clean and to a high standard.

Nice experience but wouldn't repeat - The beautiful park, and the fun attractions. Lifeguards constantly asking if everything was okay and very attentive to everyone. Very good cleanliness and organization. A little delayed check in services to enter the park, despite the presence of many young children. Very bad the photography service, you had to be very aware that any happened to take a photo. I didn’t like that in the bar inside the river they didn’t have the prices of the drinks and they told me that change would come soon and I had to leave without it after a very long wait. I certainly wouldn't repeat.

Not all slides operational - We visited 2 years ago so we knew what to expect. Paid the full ticket price and only when entering the park, we were handed a 200 peso compensation card to use at the restaurant - enough for 2 bottles of water. The compensation was for the non-operation of the main family slide - the primary reason for us visiting, but we watched the cranes disassembling it as we floated by on the lazy river. No mention of its closure on the website, and only after we paid the full price at the gate and too late to reconsider. The website still shows the closed slide in full operation. Very disappointing
