Engage all your senses with the Cirque du Soleil® production ‘JOYÁ’ — the first Cirque show globally to feature the option of dining with a tablecloth — which premiered in November 2014. Experience the journey of an alchemist and his granddaughter as they embark on a life-changing adventure to discover the mysteries of existence, aided by creatures that are part human, part animal. Located in an intimate theater nestled in the heart of the Riviera Maya jungle, ‘JOYÀ’ draws inspiration from Mexico’s rich history and culture, creating a realm where physical prowess meets the extraordinary.
- At Cirque du Soleil JOYA, we offer 2 types of performances: We have double performance days (5:00 PM and 8:15 PM) and single performance days (7:00 PM). Make sure that on the day you choose for your experience, we have the performance you prefer.
- Champagne included in food and beverage experiences can be exchanged for red wine, white wine, juice, water or soft drink, directly in the theater with your waiter.
- We have vegan and vegetarian dinner menu options, in case of food restrictions please notify the waiter at the beginning of your dinner.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time. One tickey required per person, regardless of age.
- Children 3 - 9 years and older have access to the theater and pay children price.

A must do if you are in Cancun or Playa. - The theatre area is quite small compared to other locations we have visited…but that makes it a better experience. It was well organised and well done….plus the acts were great…highly recommend it.

Joya is a show not to be missed - We have seen over 20 different Cirque shows over the past 20+ years. The experience with Joya was fantastic. From the transportation from our hotel with Juan Jose to the delicious meal explained and served to us by Olivier and Daniel to the show itself this experience with Cirque exceeds expectations. Once the show began we saw the tie in to our delicious dinner. The energy of every act was captivating and you could see the joy of the performers throughout the entire show. Joya was one of our most memorable Cirque experiences.

Simply fabulous. - Cirque du Soleil is absolutely top-notch, and Joya is a delight for all ages. The artists are mesmerizing to watch.
The arranged transportation from Cancun had us arriving almost 3 hours before showtime -- waaaaay too early. We didn't know there was a small restaurant on site; we had eaten an early dinner at our resort. The drinks were over-priced, and so are the drinks and popcorn ($12/bucket) for the show-only seating.
Again, CdS is so well organized; following the show they seem to know which vehicle every guest needs and there is very little wait time. It is about a 45 minute drive from Cancun, but totally worth it.

Waitresses were excellent Laura and her partner - Amazing! Wonderful! Shocking! The lights, the.forum, the excellent participants. They leave your mouth open with their movements.

Gorgeous entertainment - Beyond expectations and the wow factor takes you to a new level. One of the best shows I have seen and hope to see again in the near future. If you want to be entertained, enjoy your night, or looking for a great date night this is the spot for you!

Clearly not up to the Viator standards. - The show was wonderful. This is our third time seeing it very good family entertainment would highly recommend. However, transportation was horrible. The driver was 20 minutes late and picking us up and when he did, he wanted us to walk through the dark and jungle of Mexico to get to the parking lot to go and meet the van as opposed to picking us up in the normal pick up location. Would not recommend purchasing transportation through Viator as we return back to our hotel nearly 40 minutes late and stood out in the rain of Cancun, trying to communicate in the native language to arrange our transportation back to our hotel clearly not up to the Viator standards

Great show, Terrible logistics plus health and safety matter - Joya is awesome. This was my tenth cirque du Soleil show, and it did not disappoint. We purchased the “VIP” option through Viator.
We were told to be available 10 minutes prior to our 5pm pickup time. The van didn’t arrive until 5:15. We actually called to verify that we were on the list to be picked up.
On our way to the show, the driver made a stop for the other two passengers. He stopped at a vape store or a store that had vapes. The male passenger went in, purchased something, and came out about five minutes later. He took a hit on the vape immediately before opening the door and getting into the van.
My husband and I are both doctors, and we both avoid smoke avidly for health reasons. Some of the vape smoke came into the van.
After the show, we were told to meet our driver at 8:50p. We showed up right before and were asked to wait. We waited about 20 minutes or there about a. I even asked the organizer what was taking so long.
When the driver arrived, we started our way back to our hotel. The driver appeared to be in an hurry and was more aggressive than what you’d expect from a professional.
After we arrived at the hotel, I reached out to the local operator about the experience. It’s been six days and no acknowledgement. I reached out today to Viator. While they acknowledged my complaint, they did not feel the health and safety of my husband and I mattered.
It would have been better to have just paid for an uber than this experience.

Bad experience - spend your money elsewhere - Official transportation is a scam, customer service is horrible and the show itself is average. If you book the show only, you have to wait for 2 hours before getting inside the tent. I wouldn’t recomend.
