Great experience - Our tour guide made my birthday very special. He was very family oriented and entertaining. He also helped me during my injury and was very concerned. He also made sure we still enjoyed our time and took pictures of us! We are very pleased!

Cultural context - Francisco and the other guides were very informative. I appreciated the cultural context. We all enjoyed the sites. It would have been helpful for my mother in law to have a step to be able to get into the bus.

Amazing time at all stops with Edwin! - We took this trip with Edwin as our guide and he was absolutely wonderful. As a former history and archeology professor, he is not only very knowledgeable but clearly cares about the history and culture of the people and the sites. Every stop was absolutely beautiful, our lunch was delicious and prepared with love. Valerio was our driver and he is an expert driver with a lot of experience navigating the Yucatan traffic. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Chichen Itza. The addition of CobĂĄ was a great surprise and while I didn't know about it before we truly fell in love with it.

Exceptional - Unbelievable. You have the opportunity to take all the photos you want. You know the culture and the price is modest for everything on offer on this tour, it lasts approximately 12 hours but it is worth it.

Beware time and scams - Tour began (late) at 7:15 - finally got back at past 21:00 - over 2 hours later than expected. We had probably a total of 5 hours off the coach the whole day. It picks up people from all over and this took 3 hours. I wish this was an exaggeration. Once we got started they joked rather than apologised for how long it took. Then it was constant pressure to buy and dishonestly done. Many bought a Mayan birth certificate - printed piece of ‘Mayan’ haha paper with your animal on it and date of birth in cardboard folder for 30usd$. Later they will take your photo at the restaurant telling you it is for something else and try to get you to buy cheap green alcohol for 23usd$. That’s after the free buffet not even providing water as part of the deal - this is more money
. Don’t pay by card as apparently this is more due to bank charges ahem. Then constantly guides (Roberto and Niza) chanting cuckoo at the bus - definitely felt like a piss take. Also they didn’t give any detailed information and instructions for most of the day. Except to say where the tips needed to be left. However the cenote swim and Chichen Itza are great experiences to have. Just avoid having them via this tour. We did two tours in Mexico City the week before to TeotihuacĂĄn and Frida Kahlo which were superb and I couldn’t recommend more highly. These were with another company. We booked this tour through booking.com which used Viator. The company was Mayas. Avoid if you can. We used Expedia and Get your Guide to book MĂ©xico City tours which were good.
