Wonderful way to see turtles up close in the wild! - The van picked us up in Playa del Carmen last of the whole group and headed straight to the beach--ideal for us, but I think some people were on the van longer than they liked. The guide was funny and very informative. We go to the beach and got our gear, a quick shower rinse to remove any sunscreen, and then waded into the water through a significant amount of sea weed to the shallow water. We saw around 10 turtles happily swimming around very close to us. There was not a lot of other sea life or corals to see when we were there but the turtles were varied is size and very cute. The "free time" at the beach afterwards waiting for the van was not that impressive. The beach is choked with seaweed and stinks plus at that hour of the morning, nothing much open. There was a cute lunch place that opened around 11am that we were able to visit for early lunch before heading back at 1:30. If we had to do it again, I would book private transportation or go on the full day tour that didn't include the "free time" at the beach.

Great experience! - The experience was very interesting. Seeing turtles in their natural environment is priceless. The guide was very attentive to our safety in the water. The experience is suitable for everyone.

Amazing - Amazing experience, our guide Juan was amazing and took care of us all. He was funny, kind and really knowledgeable and made us all feel comfortable. He also picked us up from our hotel on time and we had a great journey to the beach.

Swimming with turtles - Had an amazing experience swimming with the turtles, got to see lots of them aswell as a stingray, starfish,barracuda and a puffa fish. Juan and Mario were fantastic hosts along with the 2 ladies that came out to swim with us fantastic guides Thankyou to Juan for taking amazing photos off my family with the turtles forever memories 🥰

Turtle beach - We had a very enjoyable trip to turtle beach and saw many turtles. Nancy was our organiser and looked after us well,all the arrangements went very smoothly, pick up at the forewarned time etc, a professional organisation. (I misunderstood we were going out on a boat, but it was actually a walk out from the beach ...you may wish to double check your booking, there were boats going out)

Akumal swimming with sea turtles - Camas our guide and the driver were amazing. Very upbeat and make it fun for us. He couldn't promise we would see sea turtles but he sure made it happen. They even had water and a snack for us. Would def do a tour with them again!! Great job!

10/10 experience - We had a great time snorkelling with Ivan as our guide. 100% recommend to anyone. Turtles, stingrays, and the coral reefs were gorgeous.

Go and you won't regret it - A beautiful experience. We swam unfortunately among the sargado (seaweed) but I would do it again 1000 times. We saw and swam with many turtles. I don't put 5 just because maybe you could add a lunch or give more time then at the beach. But it is a unique experience and our guide Ivan is TOP!
