Fabulous time!!! - Absolutely amazing experience on the Catamaran! We got to see some flying fish, fed some fish and swam in the sea! Brilliant vibe with music, drinks and food if you wanted. Lovely experience 🥰

day visit to playa blanca. - i rated this visit because it brilliant day out on my
own first solo visit to playa blanca flew out on the
the 10/6/2024 to the 24/6/24 excellent apartment old
town harbour area plenty of shops restaurants and bars
around to suit every body had a great time really enjoyed
it spent a lot of money well worth it hired a mountain bike
for the week up and down to the airport nice spin up and down
always something to do always bring plenty of water and some sun protection gets very hot there sometimes also went to the
drag night up by spoons bar what a fantastic night recommend it thoroughly plenty for everyone to do best holiday i had so far

Great Value, Relaxing Cruise - Highly Recommend! - We did this mini cruise from Playa Blanca to Papagayo yesterday. There was five adults and two kids in our group, and it was well worth the money. We booked through GetYourGuide, scanned the QR code on arrival, and we were straight on board, super easy.
The whole trip lasted around 2 hours and 15 minutes from boarding to return even though the activity stated just 1 hour. We stopped briefly at Marina Rubicón to pick up some others, but even then, there was still loads of space on the boat.
Once we got out near Papagayo, not right on the beach but anchored at sea, the boat stopped for about 30 minutes. That was more than enough time to relax, jump in the water, and enjoy the surroundings. They’ve got a slide off the side of the boat into the sea, and free snorkel gear available to use. The water was absolutely crystal clear. Even from the boat, you could see fish swimming below. The big nets at the front of the catamaran were ideal for chilling out too.
Drinks and snacks on board were surprisingly cheap, two beers and a Coke came to €5 total, which is a nice change from usual tourist prices.
The cruise back was smooth, and while it was a bit windy, the hot weather balanced it out nicely. It didn’t feel rushed at all. The crew gave everyone time to swim and relax. Finding the departure point was simple, just near the main harbour area, just behind the old terminal building.
All in all, it is a relaxing, fun, and affordable activity. Definitely recommend it.

Amazing minicruise - great few hours out! - I went on this minicruise with my sister an out kids (two adults and four children), and let me just say.. the kids loved it! And so did we.
We went on the afternoon sailing, sailed from Playa Blanca harbour at 13:30. It makes a quick stop at Marina Rubicón to collect more customers and off we went! We did a short sail from Marina Rubicón towards the middle of Playa Blanca and then turned around to head towards Papagayo beaches.
The music, the ambience and the crew were amazing.
You can buy drinks on board (water, pop, beer, etc.) and they also do a meal combo (hot dog, chips and a 50cl bottle of pop) for just 6.00EUR. A steal really, as just a hot dog is 4.00EUR, and the portion of chips 2.50EUR (so you're already getting it cheaper than buying separate, with the added 50cl drink). The drink was ice cold, well needed in the heat.
Our kids didn't stop using the slide the entire time, and the amound of fish present underneath the boat was out of this world. The kids were going down the slide with their goggles on, as as soon as they submerged they were surrounded by fish.
I cannot fault it at all, fully recommend to anyone who wants a nice afternoon out but not wanting to be on board for hours.
We lifted anchor around 15:50, and got back to Playa Blanca around 16:30 (we dropped the Marina Rubicón guests off first - of course).
Also would like to mention for people with children, or maybe not so good of a swimmer - the cre offered us childrens life jackets for the kids, and they didn't take them off the entire time.
The crew also took their time to play with our kids, so that was an added plus!

Nice experience - Just a crap. Very nice and professional staff. Spectacular views of the coast. And on top of that you can take a bath in the middle of the sea watching the fish snorkel.

A perfect Saturday afternoon trip! - We had a lovely time on the mini catamaran cruise. Honestly the timing is perfect with young children, 2.5 hours,
Finding the dock that the catamaran comes to was really easy aswell, the little blue shed next to the white building with the blue shutters, right next to the ferry port, the kids had great fun watching the ferry boats whilst we were waiting,
The staff on the boat were so helpful, and ever so kind to the children too, helping everyone on and off the boat at the beginning and end of the trip.
The snacks and drinks on the boat were so affordable too! We just got some chips and a few bottles of drinks but 10 Euro altogether!
The swimming spot was great fun! The slide into the water was enjoyable (I used it more than the kids did tbh.) and there were so many fish below so could snorkel 🤿 and see the aquatic wildlife!
We thoroughly enjoyed our mini cruise! Thank you 🙏
