It was a good time - Enjoyed ourselves, but the boat ride was a little rough. While that is probably to be expected in the open ocean, I feel like we might have gotten the short end of the stick with our boat. The other boat was larger and a lot more accommodating for passengers. We were in a small boat with no bathroom and no gate to open to get off and on easily. That made it a little rougher for an older lady like myself. We got a change of date the day before because no one else was scheduled to go out that Saturday. I think that might've been the issue with the second smaller boat. It's too bad because the original date was our wedding anniversary and we were going to be celebrating with the trip.
The first island is very small and you snorkel around it. There was lots to see. The second island is considerably larger and much more beautiful. The lunch was delicious and ample. The captain and his crew were very friendly and helpful. We did get to see a large turtle, so that was cool. Although it wasn't everything that we had hoped from reading the reviews, it was still spectacular and worth the money.

Fav part of the trip - Our experience was PHENOMENAL! Our guide was so knowledgeable and helpful on the snorkel, the food was amazing and the islands breathtaking. I would hands down recommend this tour to anyone!

MultiGenerational Fun - Leisurely Fishing & Snorkeling at Moho Caye - We did the leisure fishing and snorkeling tour. Our multi-generational family of 9, ages ranging from 11 to 70 had a great time! The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and stated the goal is to have FUN! If at any point we weren't having fun then they would accomodate. They were FANTASTIC! The provided lunch was amazing - this says a lot because it's a challenging group to feed. Will definitely use them again when we go back to Placencia.

Amazing scuba and snorkeling experience - Had a wonderful full day scuba and snorkel experience. It included a refresher as we hadn’t done a dive in over a year. Nick our guide was excellent, pointing out lots of things we may have missed. Saw sting ray, nurse sharks, turtles, reef sharks and more. Would definitely plan another diving adventure with Captain Jak’s

10/10! - Our family booked 3 excursions with Captain Jak's - Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve hike, snorkeling at Silk Caye and Moho Caye, and the sunset cruise. Every experience was 10/10. From the ease of booking, to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff who all went above and beyond to make our family's experience one of our most memorable vacations to date. There are no words to do the snorkel experience justice and I am so happy we had a chance to experience it. Every staff member deserves a shout out - Chris and Vinny, Shay and Junior, and we are so grateful for Tulu and his expertise and willingness to make sure our youngest snorkeler (my 11 year old daughter) felt safe and got to see so many amazing things. We will definitely be recommending to our friends and also can't wait to come back!

Mojo and Silk Caye snorkeling - The snokeling trip to Silk and Mojo Cayes with Captain Jak's was awesome!! Booking the tour was easy and our guides Nick and Nicole were fun, knowledgeable and made my family and I feel very comfortable. This was some of the best snorkeling I've ever experienced. When we return to Belize, we will use Captain Jak's again either for this tour or one of the other tours they offer.

Outstanding in every way - I have done quite a few snorkeling trips in different places, including 5 in Fiji a few weeks ago. I would rate this the best, the reef was incredible, our guide Nicole w captain Jaks was incredible, overall it was incredible. The lunch was outstanding, and the lunch island Moho beautiful.
This is the ultimate no brainer booking.

Great tours - We did three tours with Captain Jak's -- Cockscomb Basin tour, Monkey River Village tour and Snorkeling at Silk and Moho Caye. All three were great. We had hoped to see more animals at Cockscomb Basin, but we probably weren't there at the ideal time of day for animal sightings. Tubing and hike and swim at waterfall were great. Saw tons of wildlife on the Monkey River Village tour and had a great lunch. Snorkeling was terrific and lunch at Moho Caye was delightful -- such a pretty spot. All the guides were great. Had a lot of fun and learned alot on all three tours and Captain Jak's was easy to work with and provided great service.

GREAT sea life and snorkel experience! - Great boat ride and staff. They were very knowledgeable about the marine life and taught us all kinds of good info. We got to hold an octopus! and we saw nurse sharks, eagle rays, angel fish and more! GREAT tour!
