Great excursion - Our snorkel guide was amazing. The water was pretty choppy that day and we are in our 80s, so he attached a Life vest to himself that we could hang onto as we followed him in the water as he pointed out various fish. The snorkel equipment was good quality, and the lunch was great. Would recommend captain Jaks

Snorkel tour Captain Jack's. - Excellent calm, clear water. Take a boat ride over to the island where you'll start your adventure with your guide where he will point out many different species of fish and coral. After a few hours head ashore and grab a bite. Our lunch consisted of Watermelon, a fresh vegetable salad, chicken along with rice and beans. Then head back to the water woohoo. Great adventure.

Great trip!! - The experience was amazing, our Captain Doyle and our snorkel guide Tulu were the best! Very informative, great snorkeling and all of the staff made the experience so much fun!! Great for beginners to the experienced snorkels!!!

Finally made it to Placencia! - Booked a trip to Laughing Bird Caye in Placencia through Captain Jaks. So August, when we booked, would be considered the slow season so we pretty much had the entire island to ourselves. Our guides, Nick and Doyle were absolutely amazing. We will be doing this trip again for sure. We live here in Belize and as locals couldn’t ask for anything better we also had two guests from England with us and they loved it too! Definitely recommend these guys. They were absolutely spot on. Captain Jaks is a top-notch outfit for sure. I’m thinking we are going to do their monkey river tour next. Tourists and Locals check these guys out.

Fantastic Experience! - Great experience at Laughing Bird Caye! Just being on the caye itself was beautiful, and snorkeling through a protected barrier reef was breathtaking. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the reef and all the fish, and made sure everyone was having a good experience and learning.

Must do snorkeling at Laughing Bird Caye with Captain Jaks! - Wonderful half day snorkeling experience with our family of 5 adults. George/Captain and our guide/Alan made the morning exciting on the shores of laughing bird caye pointing out sea life including lobster, stingrays and a manatee in the wild. Would definitely recommend Captain Jaks if you are visiting Placencia in the beautiful country of Belize.

Incredible - Best snorkeling experience. We saw sharks, so many different types of fish, and conches. The guide was very knowledgeable and helped my sister who isn’t the most comfortable snorkeling. Great experience.

Captain Jak's is the best of Belize - Jamal and Captain Tony were the best! What a perfect day on the water, what a value. Jamal was super informative and the day was well paced, we did the full day not half day and it was worth it. Nice and easy, and we had the caye to ourselves in the afternoon. Stupid good, I couldn't possibly recommend this any more highly. No notes.

Amazing - Amazing Snorkeling Experience at Laughing Bird Caye Island!
I had an unforgettable time with Captain Jak’s Divers, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience—especially thanks to Kyle. As someone who was a bit nervous about snorkeling, Kyle went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and confident in the water. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly encouraging throughout the trip.
Laughing Bird Island is absolutely stunning, and Kyle made sure I got to see the best spots. He pointed out marine life I would have completely missed on my own and even took the time to explain what we were seeing. His enthusiasm and passion for the ocean were contagious and made the whole adventure that much more enjoyable.
If you’re considering snorkeling or diving in the area, I highly recommend Captain Jak’s Divers and definitely ask for Kyle!

Wonderful experience - The staff on our tour were absolutely amazing! They snorkled with us and helped point out a variety of fish, including lobsters, sharks, and tropical fish that we would not have seen without them pointing them out. Many were hiding in reefs. We had a family group and many who never snorkled before. The guides took them under their wing and helped them feel comfortable snorkling. For lunch, they would not let us take care of our own plates. They insisted that we were there as guests and they would come around and take care of our plates. So wonderful!!! Would strongly recommend!
