Beginning in Pisa, participants will enjoy a route that follows cycle paths and low-traffic roads along the Serchio River. Upon reaching Lucca, participants will arrive at the city’s renowned historic walls. Cycling atop the Walls of Lucca is a tour highlight, providing a unique perspective of the city from above.
Lucca is a city rich in art, music, history, and cuisine. Visitors can explore the Guinigi Tower with its rooftop garden, shop along Via Fillungo, and visit Piazza dell’Anfiteatro and Piazza Napoleone. Local delicacies such as cecina, necci with ricotta, and buccellato are not to be missed.
