Wonderful - We liked whole experience. We felt that we were waited. Drive from Pisa was comfortable. Wines are good. Atmosphere and views are wonderful.

Great half day tour from Pisa! - The tour was very interesting, with our guide / driver being very friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The host at the wine yard is also very nice.

Interesting Day at Fattoria Poggio Capponi Winery - Just returned from our Tuscany wine tour w/Lauri. What a delightful experience. Met outside the Lucca gates, an hour +/- drive though the scenery of Tuscany to arrive at Fattoria Poggio Capponi. We were provided an overview of the wine making process, and the wine cellar. Then onto sampling the white and red wine, along with their olive oil. All were well above average, and we bought a few bottles to indulge in while back in Lucca. Our driver Lauri was well versed on the area as well as the wine history along with the wine making processes without being overbearing. We were with three other couples and all felt the same. Well worth your time and investment.

A perfect day. - Our driver, Amelia (I think this is how she spells her name) was amazing. She shared so much local history and highlights, it set the perfect stage for the day.
The winery itself is beautiful. The tour was a perfect length prior to the tasting. We loved hearing about the history of the winery and the making of the wine.
The tasting was so fun. We had 3 groups for a total of 7 people. We all laughed and shared stories. It felt like we were all friends. We were so relaxed being able to taste each wine slowly. We never felt rushed.
I cannot recommend this tour enough. The pricing is very fair for all you get. It was a perfect day for us.

Fabulous day trip to the heart of Chianti - Amazing location in the heart of Chianti. Driver was very knowledgable providing insights into the towns/scenery on the drive to the vineyard - as well as offering some suggested sights/tours. The tour guide at the vineyard was very knowledgeable - initially we had a guided tour describing the history of the vineyard and the processes they undertake to make Chianti and other Italian wines. This was followed by the wine tasting in the Popes Room - 6 wines with bread, cheese and local meat plus sampling their olive oil. Highly recommend this trip we had an amazing day.

Lovely visit. Very informative. - We had a lovely trip. Just the 2 of us so very definitely a private tour. Our driver Corrado Petinelli was very informative, courteous and we weren’t rushed at any point.
We had a tour of the vineyard and an explanation of the process before sitting down to a private wine tasting with a small plate each of cheese, meat and bread to accompany the wine.
The scenery was beautiful and the vineyard was very tranquil.

A joy from beginning to end - From meeting our driver Adriano to the trip out, to meeting the family and listening to their story and the different wines , it was a brilliant trip. The wines were gorgeous, a lovely presentation with no time pressure.

Great Day Out - A great half day trip that takes you into the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Emily our guide was brilliant, giving us loads of fun facts on the drive there and back. The tour itself was excellent, in beautiful surroundings, though the wine tasting itself could have been improved. We weren't really given much information about anything other than the first two wines which was a shame. Rather than put all the wines in front of you to start, they poured two glasses at a time, using the same glasses for all 6 wines. Lovely cheese, bread and meats to accompany the wines and the host Maria was so friendly. That’s the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 stars. That said it was a great day and we met some really interesting people. No hard sell on the wines either. Would do it again.
